WSJ. Magazine 2026 Innovator Awards: Red Carpet Roundup
Last night, WSJ. Magazine celebrated the honourees of its 2026 Innovator Awards at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, recognising seven influential figures for their achievements across their respective industries.

Here are the rest of the attendees who joined Lupita Nyong’o, Dua Lipa, RosalÃa and a host of celebrities wearing Chanel.
Lady-Like Glamour
Adut Akech combined two Ashlyn Fall 2026 runway looks to create one fabulous ensemble. The striking chartreuse textured jacket, with its exaggerated shoulders and fitted waist, was paired with a black skirt featuring an asymmetric panel in the same fabric. I love how these two pieces have been brought together, especially as the jacket was originally presented with black trousers and the skirt detail with a fitted black top. This was easily one of the most interesting looks of the night, and a welcome burst of colour.

Threepeat
Ashley Graham wore an Ernesto Naranjo Fall 2026 black two-piece that we’ve already seen on Ester Expósito and, in red, on Zendaya. I still love the concept, particularly how the sheer panels appear to float around the body, creating an almost sculptural effect. Ester ensured her version had a more defined two-piece appearance, but I think the design works better as Ashley has presented it, with the top and skirt appearing more connected.

Back to Black
Ciara opted for a LaPointe black gown featuring a twisted halterneck, cut-outs and ruching across the waist and hips.

From the red carpet picture, I initially wondered whether she had already welcomed her fifth child, but the photograph taken inside the venue alongside Lupita Nyong’o showed that she is still very much with child.

Let the Hair Down
Emmy Rossum continues to favour Hermès, this time wearing a subtly embellished black gown. The thing about Emmy is that her beauty look always steals the show. Those fabulous curls and pink lip were always going to upstage an understated dress like this. And yes, I would have preferred sandals over pumps with that slit.

Déjà Vu
Irina Shayk wore the same Issey Miyake Fall 2026 ivory look we saw on CaitrÃona Balfe just two weeks ago. I still love the silhouette, and Irina also showed off the open back.

Interestingly, Irina is just an inch taller than CaitrÃona, and that extra inch appears to have made all the difference. The dress sits and falls much better on Irina.

Never One to Blend In
Jordan Roth continued to embrace fashion as a form of personal expression in a Matières Fécales Spring 2026 ensemble. I have a feeling this will become one of Jordan’s go-to labels, as the house’s unconventional approach to tailoring and its love of exaggerated silhouettes are such a natural fit for Jordan’s adventurous style. Between the sheer red tailoring, diagonal strips of fabric and cascading layers of tulle, there’s so much to appreciate here. Tailoring and tulle. What’s not to love?

Pretty in Pink and Black
I know the sculptural dusty-pink bodice will be a nuisance to some, but I love how glamorous Jordyn Woods looks in this Christian Siriano Spring 2027 gown. The contrast between the asymmetric bodice and the black velvet skirt is gorgeous, while the draping gives the look a flattering silhouette. It’s been so interesting to see how much her style has changed in recent months, and this is another look that suggests she’s enjoying the new direction.

Simple Elegance
Meadow Walker wore an understated Colleen Allen black gown which looks like it was designed for someone 5ft 10, which she is, or taller.
