Alicia Keys In Giorgio Armani – 2019 Grammy Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Alicia Keys In Giorgio Armani - 2019 Grammy Awards

As the host of the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) in L.A., Alicia Keys showed off a range of looks whilst on stage.

But, it was her sizzling red-carpet entrance that started the night off on a dazzling note.

I love the sensual simplicity of this fiery-crimson Armani gown, and I especially love how the tonal buttons down the front added a little something different and modern to the classic silhouette.

An edgy collar necklace completed the spicy-sleek look along with Aquazzura heels.

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Camila Cabello In Giorgio Armani - 2019 Grammy Awards

‘Havana’ singer and nominee Camilla Cabello was an early arriver at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) in L.A.

Pretty-in-pink met disco princess in her glittering, sequined Armani Privé gown.

The depth of its rich magenta hue, together with its open back detail, heightened the allure of the form-fitting design.

It was her long, jet-black ponytail that ensured a flirtatious finish, along her Harry Winston jewels.

2019 BAFTAs Menswear Roundup

2019 BAFTAs Menswear Roundup

We cannot forget about the men’s striking looks at the 2019 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 10) in London, England.

Timothee Chalamet: Ever the fashion darling, I expected nothing less than for the ‘Beautiful Boy’ actor to make a statement. The clashing patterns and cropped trousers of his Haider Ackermann Fall 2019 look was fun-meets-punk.

Mahershala Ali: The ‘Green Book’ actor looked suave in Tom Ford. The textured brocade made the classic monochromatic colours something special.

Lakeith Stanfield: Outfitted in Saint Laurent, the Rising Star nominee demonstrated his sartorial skills. The black velvet shoes with plush jacket bring things together without becoming too matchy-matchy.

The Charles Finch & Chanel Pre-BAFTA’s Dinner

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features The Charles Finch & Chanel Pre-BAFTA's Dinner

As we all know, Grammy weekend is also BAFTA weekend.  Which means as soon as our BAFTA coverage concludes, we go straight into the Grammys this evening.

Charles Finch and Chanel hosted their annual pre-BAFTA’s dinner at Loulou’s on Saturday (February 9) in London.

Regina King: While most wore Chanel, Regina King opted for Giorgio Armani. Does that mean she doesn’t suit Chanel? No, she just opted to showed her individuality in this Fall 2017 top and colour-block ball skirt. I can’t wait to see what she wears tonight.

Margot Robbie: The Chanel brand ambassador was always going to wear a look from the most recent collection. Her Chanel Spring 2019 Haute Couture look is elegant enough, but at the same time, it’s not exactly a memorable piece.

Katharina Schuettler In Miu Miu & Karoline Schuch In Giorgio Armani – ‘The Kindness Of Strangers’ Berlinale Film Festival Premiere

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Katharina Schuettler In Miu Miu & Karoline Schuch In Giorgio Armani - 'The Kindness Of Strangers' Berlinale Film Festival Premiere

Katharina Schuettler and Karoline Schuch attended the opening ceremony and ‘The Kindness Of Strangers’ premiere during the 2019 Berlinale International Film Festival on Thursday (February 7) in Germany.

Katharina Schuettler: I feel we’ve seen this style of Miu Miu Resort 2019 dresses several times – which we have (Gwendoline Christie and Elle Fanning), yet surprisingly, I’m not bored. With its full-skirted silhouette topped by a shimmering leopard bodice, this ball gown recalls a bygone era which Katharina honors with elegant styling.

2019 SAG Awards Menswear Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features 2019 SAG Awards Menswear

Here’s a look at the handsome fellas at the 2019 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 27) in LA.

Mahershala Ali: The ‘Green Book’ outstanding supporting actor winner cut a suave profile in this riff on an aubergine tuxedo by Ermenegildo Zegna XXX with the brocade effect adding a layer of richness to the ensemble. I like the relaxed elegance of his Bruno Magli smoking slippers and the white bow tie for its crisp, clean finish.

Henry Golding: The Midas touch was definitely rubbing off on the ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ actor, who lived up to his last name with this gold jacket. Opting out of a tie was the right move here, as the Tom Ford ensemble doesn’t seem try-hard even with its metallic sheen.

Chadwick Boseman: The ‘Black Panther’ star continues to impress, as this fancy Ermenegildo Zegna XXX jacket in a leafy tribal pattern styled with the series of lapel pins did the trick — no tie required. Christian Louboutin shoes completed the look.

Front Row @ Armani Prive Spring 2019

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Front Row @ Armani Prive Spring 2019

The one front row that is always oozing with elegance during Haute Couture Week is Armani Prive.

Dakota Fanning and many more were on hand to celebrate Giorgio Armani’s Spring 2019 collection on Tuesday (January 22) in Paris.

Celine Dion: I love how this mannish offering is given soft structure with the longline shirt which is offset with a statement velvet bow.

Dakota Fanning: One of the few to opt out of suiting, this blush-hued dress was another dreamy presentation from the actress. I love how she manages to keep plenty of youthful appeal as her style continues to evolve.

Amber Heard: No stranger to suiting, the actress was smoking in her classic tux, which was of course topped off with a red lip.

Anne Hathaway In Giorgio Armani – Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Anne Hathaway In Giorgio Armani - Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Anne Hathaway’s promo tour for ‘Serenity’ kicked stared on Friday with suiting, and she kept momentum going for her guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday (January 14).

The actress didn’t let the rain slow her down. In fact she looked more radiant than ever wearing Giorgio Armani Fall 2018.

I’m in awe at how this embellished suit sparkles with effervescent luminescence.

2019 Critics’ Choice Awards Menswear

2019 Critics’ Choice Awards Menswear

The 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards were on Sunday (January 13) in Santa Monica, California, and the men showed up just as much as the women when it comes to the statement looks of the evening. There was hardly a standard suit in the mix here.

Timothée Chalamet: Your Best Dressed of last week kept his style-forward streak going strong in this painterly Alexander McQueen Resort 2019 suit. As always, he pulls off the directional look — complete with white sneakers — so seamlessly and nonchalantly.

John Legend: The singer-actor recently turned 40, but he looks as good as ever — especially with the rich, textural effect of this Ermenegildo Zegna XXX suit, styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Thomas III’ shoes.

Stephan James: The contrast piping on this slightly shrunken, slim-line Thom Browne suit gave it a an eye-catching edge. A Montblanc timepiece and David Yurman ring completed the look.

2019 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon Features 2019 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 2019 AFI Awards was a packed house with several more ladies taking to the red carpet this afternoon (January 4), to receive their accolades.

Elsie Fisher: This young lady never fails to put a smile on my face. Yet to don a dress on the red carpet this calendar year, I’m wondering if that will change for the Globes on Sunday. Her signature trousered style was looking very bright in this M Missoni Resort 2019 outfit, which was of course styled with her other signature: a Kate Spade New York bag.

Emma Stone: While I was tempted to say, “thank you, next”, to this Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 look, when I paused to take a moment, this look isn’t actually so bad. What lets it down are the black slingbacks. I wish she’s opted for the ‘Overnight Cross’ sandals, but thankful she didn’t go for the LV Archlight boots.

Keri Russell: Dressed in Dior, I found myself a little underwhelmed by this offering. Usually I’m mesmerized by Keri on the red carpet, but I’m not getting any goosebumps today.

Premiere Of Netflix’s ‘Dumplin’

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Premiere Of Netflix's 'Dumplin'

The premiere of Netflix’s ‘Dumplin’ on Thursday (December 6) in Los Angeles, California brought some understated sparkle to the red carpet.

Jennifer Aniston: The actress knows what works for her and doesn’t often stray too far away from that. This Stella McCartney mini showcases her fondness for black as well as her toned pins. Although bedecked with sequins, it still has an effortless minimalist feel that’s in her wheelhouse. Fred Leighton jewellery and a Valextra clutch rounded out the dazzling look.

Odeya Rush: Her costar also opted for black but added a pop of pink with her Giorgio Armani separates. There’s plenty of interest in the top with the banding continuing to an open back, but the proportions and mix of materials feel slightly off.

Georgie Flores: The ‘Famous In Love’ actress projected a sweet sentiment in Markarian Fall 2018. It was a more feminine take on a slip dress with the seamed waist and delicate embroidery. The detailed accessories played into the soft feeling.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

It’s time to catch up with the menswear circuit, as this past weekend brought with it a slew of handsome fellows on the red carpet.

Richard Madden: At the Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2018 on Sunday (November 18) in London, Richard was ever-so-dapper in a head-to-toe Salvatore Ferragamo look that was striking in its sophistication.

Timothée Chalamet: Continuing to show us his sharp eye for style, the young actor riffed on the classic black suit at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 2018 Governors Awards in Hollywood on Sunday (November 18). This Haider Ackermann Spring 2019 look offered such cool visual appeal in the jacket’s stained-glass, swirling pattern and shaping.

Eddie Redmayne: Speaking of cool-kids, Eddie will forever be one, especially with looks like this sporty Gucci ensemble at the ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ photocall in Madrid, Spain on Friday (November 16). Who knew a bee-emblazoned bomber could look so breezy.
