Kiki Layne Miu Miu – ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ Mill Valley Film Festival Premiere

Kiki Layne Miu Miu - 'If Beale Street Could Talk' Mill Valley Film Festival Premiere

Following the New York premiere, I was excited to see Kiki Layne back again so soon for the Mill Valley Film Festival premiere of ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ on Sunday (October 14).

When it comes to her red carpet style, it’s clear to see that dreamy gowns that epitomize modern femininity is very much her thing.

Her Miu Miu multi-colour gown was beautifully enhanced with embellished Swarovski crystals.

I love that she opted to further the elegance of the gown, by styling her look with silver Miu Miu sandals and jewels from EFFY and EF Collection.

Eleanor Tomlinson In Tom Ford - 'Colette' London Film Festival Premiere

Eleanor Tomlinson joined Denise Gough and Keira Knightley for the ‘Colette’ London Film Festival premiere on Thursday (October 11).

The British actress possessed a sensual after-dark glamour, looking very statuesque in Tom Ford.

Serving as proof that a long-sleeve floor-length dress can be highly seductive, there was no need for a pop of colour with the glorious hair.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the guys who hit the red carpet and royal wedding this week.

Kendrick Sampson: The actor was probably the best dressed at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, opting to wear an orange Eidos suit. Of course he wanted to complement the iconic Veuve Clicquot label which provided the backdrop to the step and repeat, but what I love most is that the shade is both summery and autumnal all at once, and that he didn’t opt for black or navy shoes. A Movado watch rounded out this well thought-out effort.

Ricky Martin: Who knew Ricky Martin and Princess Eugenie were friends? The singer was one of the many guests who attended the royal wedding on Friday. He was outfitted by Berluti, wearing a black wool morning coat, ivory jacquard vests with baby blue silk tie and pocket square exclusively designed by Kris Van Assche.

Andrea Riseborough In Schiaparelli Haute Couture – ‘Nancy’ London Film Festival Premiere

Andrea Riseborough In Schiaparelli Haute Couture - 'Nancy' London Film Festival Premiere

Andrea Riseborough attended the premiere of her latest film ‘Nancy’, on Saturday (October 13) in London.

The British actress has never been afraid to don avant-garde looks, so I wasn’t surprised to see her take on this ivory and gold wool jacquard Schiaparelli Fall 2018 Haute Couture dress with glove- sleeves.

This may not be a shared opinion, but I love that she kept the glove-sleeves from the runway, as it keeps the look interesting.

Removing the sleeveless jacket was the right decision also, as the look may have appeared too bulk on Andrea.

Timothée Chalamet In Alexander McQueen - 'A Beautiful Boy' London Film Festival Premiere

There was no missing Timothee Chalamet on the red carpet for the London Film Festival premiere of ‘Beautiful Boy’ on Saturday (October 13).

When it comes to the floral print of his Alexander McQueen Fall 2018 suit, it is a hell of a lot to visually take in, so I won’t be surprised if some people have reservations, but I continue to admire his stylish, brave choices.

I’m glad he opted for Chelsea boots over the runway sneakers, as the would’ve pulled the look down for me.

Zoe Kazan In Honor – ‘Wildlife’ London Film Festival Premiere

Zoe Kazan In Honor - 'Wildlife' London Film Festival Premiere

Zoe Kazan was joined by her Gucci-clad beau Paul Dano on the red carpet for the ‘Wildlife’ premiere during the BFI London Film Festival on Thursday (October 13).

Following her last red carpet look, this Honor gown was infinitely better, as it was far more flattering.

Yes, this look sits firmly in her wheelhouse with the Victorian influences, ruffles and high collar, but for me, this is one of her best looks so far during this promo tour as it was oozing romanticism.

Amazon Prime Video hosted the New York premiere of ‘The Romanoffs’ at the Russian Tea Room on Thursday (October 11).

Diane Lane: Diane will always be one of those actress’ I will forever hold in high regards due to her talent, style and grace, and she looked ever so graceful in this Akris suit. The look had me swooning at every turn; from the velvet fabric, colour and style that was formal, yet not ridged. I love how she kept the green theme going with the Gabriela Hearst ‘Demi’ bag.

Amanda Peet: I know some of you don’t like step-hem, or mullet dresses, but there’s something about this Michael Kors Collection Fall 2018 dress that feels very modern to me.

Cara Buono: Between Diane’s green velvet suit and Cara’s blue bell sleeve textured jacquard dress from Theia’s Fall 2018 collection, I’m getting a lot of festive feels from this red carpet.
