Amandla Stenberg In Calvin Klein 205W39NYC – ‘The Darkest Minds’ Sydney Premiere

Amandla Stenberg In Calvin Klein 205W39NYC - 'The Darkest Minds' Sydney Premiere

Amandla Stenberg was flying solo for ‘The Darkest Minds’ premiere in Sydney, Australia on Sunday (August 12).

Marrying fashion with art, the actress wore a Calvin Klein 205W39NY Pre-Fall 2018 look printed with the iconic 1964 Flowers by Andy Warhol.

The look has a cool and effortless vibe we expect from Amandla. I keep thinking that this would’ve been a great look for TLC back in the ’90s.

The only think that didn’t work so well for me here are the Calvin Klein port leather lace-up boots.

Even with this expressive print, they manage to steal focus.

Bebe Rexha In Sergio Hudson & Unravel Project – Meant to Be: Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line

Bebe Rexha In Sergio Hudson - Meant to Be: Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line

Bebe Rexha performed at the ‘Meant to Be: Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line’ held at the GRAMMY Museum on Tuesday (August 13) in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore a Sergio Hudson Fall 2018 top with Unravel Project pants and Jimmy Choo pumps.

My favourite piece of the look is the voluminous silk taffeta blouse.

I couldn’t shake the thought of NFL players leggings with it came to her Unravel Project pants thanks to the lace detail and the stitch work that resembles protection pads.

I did like how the Jimmy Choo shoes rounded off the look, and didn’t feel like it was one print too many.

Rita Ora In Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture – Ascot Racecourse

Rita Ora In Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture - Ascot Racecourse

Rita Ora was the headline act at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday (August 11) in Berkshire, England.

As you know the British entertainer’s style ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous, so where does this Jean Paul Gauliter Spring 2018 Couture look rank?

For me, I love it as a performance look.

The corded blue short set has plenty of character and personality.

The styling – including the fringed boots, contemporary shades and AN Itchy Scratchy Patchy beret – shows me she was determined to put on quite a show.

I would rather this, than another leotard look as a performance look any day.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Christopher Kane – INTERSECT By Lexus Preview Event

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Christopher Kane - INTERSECT By Lexus Preview Event

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the INTERSECT by Lexus Preview Event on Monday (August 14) in New York City.

Both Elsa Hosk and Kimberley Garner have served up classic slip dresses this week, while Rosie’s Christopher Kane’s piece was typically elevated version on the classic wardrobe staple.

I personally don’t like the dress as the embellishments feel a bit gaudy, but Rosie wins me over with her presentation, along with the shorter length.

Constance Wu In Michael Kors Collection – Build Series

Constance Wu In Michael Kors Collection - Build Series

Constance Wu paid a visit to Build to discuss her new film, ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ on Monday (August 14) in New York City.

Opting to Fall forward, the actress wore a Michael Kors Collection black-and-porcelain embroidered cashmere pullover and a black-and-crimson floral skirt.

A pullover? In August?

For me it doesn’t bare thinking about, but my biggest issue was the Building Block satchel as it feels out of place with the chic vibe of the look.

Some might not appreciate her animal-print Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ pumps, but I love how she was inspired by the Michael Kors runway, where beauty of the collection was throwing different prints together and making them work.

Thoughts?

Rose Byrne In Christian Dior – ‘Juliet, Naked’ New York Premiere

Rose Byrne In Christian Dior - 'Juliet, Naked' New York Premiere

Rose Byrne attended the ‘Juliet, Naked’ New York premiere on Monday (August 14) in New York City.

While I adore the rustic, bohemian charm of her Christian Dior Resort 2019 tulle bustier dress, I’m really keen to see these Dior dresses without the runway accessories.

It doesn’t kill the look for me, because Rose looks breath-taking, but I know I would’ve loved this look more without it.
