Joey King In Lei Lou – 2018 Teen Choice Awards

Joey King In Lei Lou - 2018 Teen Choice Awards

Joey King was one of the guest presenters at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (August 12) in Inglewood, California, alongside Maddie Ziegler.

There were similarities to Joey and Katherine Langford’s black tulle tiered look, but Joey’s Lei Lou Spring 2018 dress, which boasting a romantic tulle construction, and flirty mini length in a vision of sharp tiers, felt more playful and perfectly styled.

Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet

Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Grants Banquet

There were plenty more celebs who joined Charlize Theron and Laura Harrier for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet on Thursday (August 9) in Beverly Hills, California.

Dakota Fanning: I love that Dakota served up something outside the Miu Miu-Prada family, yet I found it hard to warm to this Nina Ricci Resort 2019 wrap dress. Perhaps it’s just a case of not liking the road less traveled. Olgana Paris ‘L’Amazone’ jeweled sandals completed her look.

Amber Heard: When it came to Amber’s Saint Laurent dress, my feelings were much more clear. There is too much going on with this print.

Cynthia Erivo: The singer opted to go glam in this Michael Kors Collection Fall 2018 dress with a tantalizing sculpting silhouette which she styled with Eva Fehren jewels and quirky headband.

Joey King In Miu Miu – The Kissing Booth’ LA Screening

Joey King was looking all grown up for the screening of ‘The Kissing Booth’ on Thursday (May 10) in Los Angeles, California.

Offering a perfectly themed lipstick-red hue, this flattering frock from Miu Miu Collection boasts a slim silhouette and flared hem for amplified drama.

I love the addition of the red pumps, but I’m thankful the matchy elements ended here. Any more red, like lipstick for example, would have been overkill for the 18-year-old actress.

Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ Red Carpet Roundup

Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ event brought out a bevy of beauties on Friday (April 27) in Los Angeles, California. They joined Storm ReidAngela Sarafyan and Yara Shahidi.

Skai Jackson: The Disney actress looked sweet in Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018. This is not the first look I would have expected from the designer with his classic, minimalist aesthetic, but think it suits her to a tee. The white and pink tie dye print and oversized T-shirt dress design are fun and feminine. The accessories also add fashion-forward appeal.

Madelaine Petsch: Opting for coordinates, the ‘Riverdale’ actress wore a head-turning Prada Spring 2018 look. Some might crave a cleaner finish, but everything is working from the stripes to the leopard spots to the graphic print in the Prada printed blouse. It presents a sophisticated rock ‘n roll sentiment.

Katherine Langford: The ‘Marie Claire’ cover girl embraced a retro romantic mood in a Markarian custom Fall 2018 dress. While the belted silhouette might be classic, the glittery pale pink fabric with red accents brought it into modern times.

SXSW Conference and Festival Weekend Roundup

A number of other stars were in Austin, Texas this past weekend for the start of the 2018 SXSW Conference and Festival. Here’s a look at what they were wearing.

Carla Gugino: The actress was a beauty in blue at the ‘Elizabeth Harvest’ premiere on Saturday (Marh 10) with this vibrant, high-low variation on the iconic Diane von Furstenberg floral wrap dress. I probably would have opted for a different shoe to let her red lip and matching envelope clutch be the accessories of note, rather than bring in the additional metallic shine factor.

Jamie Chung: Making a case for colourful stripes, this was such a graphically intrepid Ronny Kobo dress—and I loved its slightly dizzying effect at the ‘1985’ premiere on Friday (March 9).

AJ Michalka: At the ‘Support the Girls’ premiere on Friday (March 9), AJ turned up the charm in a Markarian ‘Theres’ dress. The only thing about this look was that I felt the black peep-toe shoes dragged it down somewhat.
