Menswear Roundup: From Statement Jackets to Retro Tailoring
These are the final eight menswear looks of the week.

The Gilded Age Press Junket
Following his theatrical Margiela look for the New York premiere, Morgan Spector opted for a more relaxed approach in Ralph Lauren. This could have been just a striped knit with black pleated trousers, but the belt, printed neck scarf and tinted sunglasses give the look so much personality. This is smart-casual dressing at its best.
Styled by Bailey Moon.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping London Photocall
Joseph Zada, who joined his co-stars for the London photocall, is fast becoming one of my ones to watch. This was only a photocall, so no one was expecting anything extravagant, but that is exactly what he served up in this Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann ivory crystal-embroidered cropped jacket. Between the exaggerated shawl lapels, intricate embellishments and tassel, there is so much to love here. They say the key to men pulling off a cropped jacket is pairing it with high-waisted trousers, and Joseph clearly got the memo.
Styled by Jason Bolden.

Club Kid premiere
Jordan Firstman also wore TOM FORD by Haider Ackermann, serving up contrast in a completely different way. Floral accents have long been part of the house’s design language, and this black flower brooch is the perfect addition to his white double-breasted jacket. I love how something so simple can completely change the feel of a suit. Bvlgari Tubogas gold hoop earrings and an Octo Finissimo watch completed his look.

TIME100 Gala
Sombr wore a Valentino by Alessandro Michele Resort 2027 suit, which feels surprisingly muted by his standards. I mean, where are the rhinestones and fringe detailing? I’m kidding, of course, because Sombr knows there is a time and place for all that – usually on stage or at the Grammys – and a time to suit up. What keeps this unmistakably Sombr is the distinct ’70s influence and those signature shades.

Paapa Essiedu gave us one of the more interesting looks of the evening. Dressed in Armani, the long black coat and white stand-collar shirt already make for an interesting combination, but the satin waist tie and David Webb necklace are what really elevate it for me. There is a lot going on here, but I wouldn’t remove a thing.
Styled by Rose Forde.

Troye Sivan wore Prada, pairing a burgundy leather jacket with dark brown trousers. I love this colour combination, and the jacket is easily my favourite part of the look, but I’m not convinced by the long belt.

SCAD Savannah Film Festival
Nicholas Galitzine wore a dark moss P. Johnson suit to receive the Ensemble Award for The Mosquito Bowl. I feel like I’ve only ever seen the British actor in black or navy, but with his colouring, this palette works so well for him. The patterned tie is a lovely finishing touch, and the tailoring fits him beautifully. I’d love to see him explore more earthy tones.
Styled by Ben Schofield.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping London Premiere
I had to zoom in on Kieran Culkin’s McQueen Pre-Fall 2026 jacket because, at first glance, I thought it was black, but it’s actually dark brown. What sells the jacket is the lace argyle embroidery, which I really appreciate. However, I’m not entirely sold on the brown, powder-blue and black colour combination, although I’m not completely opposed to it either. Consider me on the fence.
