Whitney Peak Goes Back to Basics, While Glenn Close Opts for Westwood

Whitney Peak and Glenn Close joined Mckenna Grace and Elle Fanning for the London photocall for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, following the film’s premiere. After the more elaborate looks we saw on the red carpet, both actresses took a different approach to their photocall outfits.

Back to Basics

Whitney Peak received mixed reactions to her Chanel Haute Couture look at the premiere, so perhaps this Toteme strapless balloon dress will be more to your taste.

I love how effortless this feels on her. The silhouette is simple, but the shape gives it enough interest. I’m also going to pretend I didn’t notice those black pumps. Otium Berg Roscida earrings were all the jewellery she needed.

A Familiar Westwood Silhouette

Glenn Close swapped her moss-green Simone Rocha premiere look for a camel-coloured Vivienne Westwood trouser suit that is instantly recognisable as a design from the British fashion house.

With her hands tucked into her pockets, it’s a little difficult to judge exactly how the jacket falls, but my first instinct is that it’s a size too big. Perhaps keeping her hands in her pockets is an attempt to disguise that? Either way, I would have preferred a slightly closer fit.

The Dr. Martens Aurix Hi boots were a welcome choice, giving the tailoring a less formal finish.
