Boucheron Paris Fashion Week Dinner

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features oucheron Dinner

It looks like Gong Li didn’t get the all black memo for the Boucheron dinner during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday (January 20).

Uma Thurman: This is the kinda all black look I can get on board with. From the Prada pailette covered dress, to the chic way this she accessorized it, I’m fully on-board with this from head to toe.

Lea Seydoux: By complete contrast, I as less enthused by Lea’s Louis Vuitton offering. Even the jewels can’t take this to another level.

Coco Rocha: Christian Siriano is always about super sleek silhouettes. This jumpsuit is made all the more appealing with its ’70s-style fringes and sequins detailing.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

It was a jam-packed red carpet at The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party on Saturday (January 5) in Los Angeles, California, with 18 more more ladies joining Thandie Newton,  Emma StoneKiki LayneGemma Chan and Laura Harrier.

Emily Blunt: I was at first swept away by the beautiful Oscar de la Renta Pre Fall 2019 tulle polka dot dress, then I fell more in love with this look when I got to the yellow sandals.

Rachel Brosnahan: The colour of this weekend for Rachel was yellow. You were slightly underwhelmed by her Golden Globes offering, so how does this Christian Siriano Spring 2019 embellished sheath fare? The look was beautifully styled with yellow and gold Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ pumps.

Rosamund Pike: It looks like the Pike x Givenchy union has a lot more to offer, and you’ll find me complaining following her Golden Globes outing and this flouncy Spring 2019 asymmetric dress. The only thing missing from this union is some colour every once in a while, as I’m worried this might hit a Rooney Mara “always black” brick wall. Pierre Hardy ‘Gena’ sandals completed her look.

2019 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features 2019 Golden Globe Awards

As you know we always do a final sweep of the red carpet before we close an event. Here are the gorgeous ladies we just had to feature from the 2019 Golden Globe Awards.

Olivia Colman: Grossly underrated, the British actress collected her Best Actress – Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for ‘The Favorite’ wearing Stella McCartney. Her split sleeves dress isn’t groundbreaking, but it was perfectly suited to her laidback, no-fuss style, with a touch of embellishment to mark the glamorous occasion. David Morris jewelry completed her look.

Marina de Tavira: The ‘Roma’ star stays firmly on my one-to-watch list with this gorgeous iridescent Vivienne Westwood Couture gown. I’m not sure this one will go down well with the majority thanks to the sheerness of the skirt, but this gets a thumbs up from me. Irene Neuwirth jewels completed her look.

Octavia Spencer In Christian Siriano – 2019 Golden Globe Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Octavia Spencer In Christian Siriano - 2019 Golden Globe Awards

Although Octavia Spencer often gravitates towards designer Tadashi Shoji for the red carpet, she switched things up at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 6) in Beverly Hills, California.

I was charmed by this Christian Siriano metallic and black lace frock on her, given its feminine off-the-shoulder appeal and tea-length skirt.

A Tyler Ellis clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, including a standout, doorknocker ring, completed her entrance in chic form.

Allison Janney In Christian Siriano – 2019 Golden Globe Awards

Allison Janney was also at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 6) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress has mastered the style of the statuesque gown, and this turquoise Christian Siriano Spring 2019 design followed in that same vein.

Intrinsically romantic with the off-the-shoulder neckline, the dress — and its mesmerizing colour — could have easily stood on its own without the addition of the elaborate necklace.

Regina King In Christian Siriano – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Regina King In Christian Siriano - The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Regina King made a guest appearance on the ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ where she talked about ‘If Beal Street Could Talk’, and directing an episode of the NBC series ‘This Is Us’.

The multi-talented actress-director made my heart leap twice.

Not only was she wearing a gorgeous Christian Siriano Pre-Fall 2018 jumpsuit, but she was also in my favourite colour electric-blue.

I adore the flattering wide-leg silhouette and the asymmetrical neckline that adds the pièce de résistance to the design.

Gold Nicholas Kirkwood pumps which complement her hair accessory completed her look.

Awards season 2019 is going to be a big one for Regina, and I’m eagerly strapped in and ready for the fashion ride.
