Celebrities Front Row at Chanel Spring 2027
Here is a look at the celebrities and house ambassadors who took their seats on the front row for the Chanel Spring 2027 show in Paris on Monday, the penultimate day of Paris Fashion Week.

More Is More
Dua Lipa will always serve a decorative moment in Chanel. For Spring 2026 Haute Couture, it was a brightly coloured graphic look; this time, feathers, floral detailing and embroidery create a completely different proposition. There is a lot happening, but Dua has the presence to carry it, and I much prefer seeing her explore this side of Chanel than playing things safe.

Chanel Woman Of The Moment
Sandra Hüller is the Chanel woman of the moment following her two Chanel Haute Couture looks while promoting Digger. We didn’t love her New York premiere look, but this is much more convincing. There is an ease to the outfit, while the oversized clutch and tinted glasses add personality.

Pedro Gets His Chanel Groove Back
The same applies to Pedro Pascal. I wasn’t a fan of his recent Chanel look, but this double-breasted tweed coat immediately puts things right. Worn over a black roll-neck and trousers, it has the classicism you expect from the house, but those red buttons stop it from feeling too traditional. This is the Pedro-Chanel relationship I want to see.

Back In Black
I don’t know what I’m more enamoured by here: Nicole Kidman’s hair, which has been a bit of a bone of contention during her Practical Magic 2 press tour, or how cool she looks keeping things simple in a Chanel double-breasted mini dress with sheer tights. Either way, this is working for me.

A Front Row Debut
Following his Dior look during the Venice Film Festival, John Malkovich made his front-row debut at Chanel. We have seen this pale pink Chanel Spring 2026 shirt many times, but with the jeans, bag and hat, he looks entirely like himself rather than someone dressed for the occasion by a fashion house, which I love.

A Natural Fit
As a long-time Saint Laurent girl, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was a surprise addition to the Chanel front row, but her look wasn’t. The neutral palette, cropped jacket and tailored trousers sit comfortably within the wardrobe she has cultivated for years, so there is no sense that she has suddenly adopted a different fashion identity. I gave up on those toe-cap shoes a long time ago, though, and nothing about this outing is changing my mind.

Almost There
I love Lori Harvey’s style, and this Chanel combination of a shimmering lace dress and textured jacket feels right for the occasion. My issue is the footwear. I would have preferred the IT girl mules or a pair of thong sandals, which would have given the look a more modern finish. The metallic slingbacks aren’t terrible, but they aren’t the shoes I would have chosen.

Classic Chanel
Mariana di Girolamo, who was the Chanel girl of the Venice Film Festival, opted for a straightforward Chanel black tweed jacket and trousers. I thought this was Sofia Coppola at first. Perhaps it’s the simplicity of the look and the bob, but I had to do a double take.

Keeping It Cute
Ayo Edebiri went short in a black Chanel mini dress with white trim, with the checked jacket, sunglasses and coordinating accessories elevating this fun moment. This has an easy front-row appeal that suits Ayo. The dress has enough personality on its own, and the two-tone slingbacks make sense here.

Having Fun With Chanel
Kristen Wiig wore the same Chanel mini dress we previously saw on quintessential Chanel girl Lily-Rose Depp. Call me crazy, but I love everything about this. It feels fun and playful, right down to the red-and-black pumps, which are exactly the kind of unexpected choice that makes the look memorable. The matching jacket is interesting, but I think leaving it off was the right decision. Wearing it would have completely changed the dynamic and taken away some of the dress’s charm.

Keeping It Simple
Marion Cotillard doesn’t need every Chanel appearance to make a major statement. The black top and pale blue trousers are simple, but the proportions keep this from feeling basic. After so many years with the house, there is an ease to the way she wears Chanel that makes even the most straightforward combination feel natural on her.

Well Coordinated
I’ll admit that Olivia Wilde’s Chanel two-tone pumps make sense within this particular mix. As you know, I am a sucker for a well-coordinated look, and the mint toe-cap picks up the colour in her checked skirt beautifully. The white tank also gives the embellished jacket and textured skirt some breathing room, so despite several elements competing for attention, it all comes together.

Another Lily-Rose Rerun
As I said, Lily-Rose Depp is the quintessential Chanel girl, so I’m not surprised to see another one of her looks on this front row, this time worn by Adèle Exarchopoulos. She wore the same pale-yellow Chanel Fall 2026 dress, styling hers with burgundy shoes, which I feel shouldn’t work, but somehow they do. You may remember that Lily-Rose styled hers with cream-and-white two-tone pumps.
