Celebrities in Chanel at the ‘Wild Horse Nine’ Venice Premiere
Matthieu Blazy dressed two women in Chanel for the Wild Horse Nine premiere during the Venice Film Festival this evening.

A Tale Of Two Halves
Mariana Di Girolamo wore a custom Chanel white corseted look, with the wide off-the-shoulder stole setting an elegant tone from the outset.

I know some of you will be at odds with the skirt. After all, did a lace-and-silk-tulle skirt embroidered with floral bouquets really need belt loops and a trouser-style fastening at the waist?
It is an unexpected detail against all that delicate lace, but the top half of this look, along with the softness of the embroidered skirt, keeps me on board. For me, those tailoring details don’t undo the look.
Styled by Jason Bolden.

Newspaper Print, Reimagined
Mariacarla Boscono wore a Chanel Resort 2027 knotted tweed gown, offering Matthieu Blazy’s take on the black-and-white newspaper print that has recurred throughout fashion history.
But I don’t think we’ve ever seen the idea presented quite this elegantly. The newspaper-print tweed, with its cascading folds and sweeping skirt, is accented with the signature camellia embellished with feathers.

There is so much to take in here, yet the newspaper print remains the star, and Mariacarla has the presence to carry a gown of this scale.
