Olivia Wilde In Jonathan Cohen – National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Olivia Wilde In Jonathan Cohen - 2018 New York Film Critics Circle Awards

Olivia Wilde made a bold statement at the National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala on Tuesday (January 8) in New York City. She joined Gemma Chan and Elsie Fisher.

She shed some layers of the lookbook version of the Jonathan Cohen Spring 2019 ensemble to reveal the whimsically feminine dress.

Its blackened purple and red floral print imbues a bewitching mood to the nipped waist and frill.

The dark accessories add to the black magic of the ensemble and provide a sumptuous finish.

Olivia Wilde In Erdem – Variety’s Creative Impact Awards And 10 Directors To Watch Brunch

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Olivia Wilde In Erdem - Variety's Creative Impact Awards And 10 Directors To Watch Brunch

The one thing Olivia Wilde was not leaving behind in 2018 was her love for ’70s inspired fashion.

The actress wore an emerald green suit, which you may be shocked to learn is from Erdem’s Resort 2019 collection, as the London-based designer isn’t really known for his suits, or anything that isn’t decked out in flowers.

But won’t be surprised that Olivia selected this look though.

The actress has had a thing for flares since her guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel back in September.

On this occasion the styling was kept super simple with multiple necklaces and rings by Foundrae.

In the look book, you’d worry that this boxy silhouette won’t translate too well on the red carpet, but Olivia doesn’t look overwhelmed at all. Quite at ease in fact.

End Of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

As the week draws to a close, we look back at some of the beauties who made statements on the red carpet.

Emily Blunt: The actress showcased the designer’s feminine charm in a brightly coloured Carolina Herrera Spring 2019 outfit at SiriusXM’s Town Hall with the cast of ‘Mary Poppins Returns.’ The frock will likely have many dreaming of spring.

Tracee Ellis Ross: The ‘Black-ish’ star embraced a glamorous disco spirit in Gucci Resort 2019 at Equality Now’s Make Equality Reality Gala 2018. It’s a completely different mood than the runway version and is in keeping with her bold aesthetic.

Glenn Close: Outfitted in Dior Pre-Fall 2018 with a Dior leather embroidered tarot clutch, the actress proved the merits of clean lines at the Museum Of The Moving Image Salute to Glenn Close.

Olivia Wilde In Calvin Klein – ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ LA Screening

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Olivia Wilde In Calvin Klein - 'If Beale Street Could Talk' LA Screening

Olivia Wilde brought the colour to the ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ LA screening on Tuesday (December 4).

Dressed in Calvin Klein Resort 2019, the rich tones amplified the long and lean silhouettes.

She deviated from the lookbook version by opting for a coordinating magenta top and lapel and a contrasting green skirt.

The concept is playful but I sense some might find the finish a touch dated with the oversized proportions of the jacket and the strong eye makeup.

2018 Baby2Baby Gala

Glamorous ladies were out in full force at the 2018 Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday (November 10) in California. They attended alongside Olivia MunnAmy Adams and Rachel Bilson.

Kelly Rowland: The singer shimmered in a custom Krikor Jabotian gown and Sarah Flint shoes. The jewels added even more sparkle to the megawatt look. It would have made for a brilliant performance ensemble.

Lauren Conrad: Forgoing the night’s popular black theme, she decided on a softer approach in Rhea Costa and carried a top-handle bag.

Zoe Saldana: Opting for simplicity, the actress showcased structured tailoring in plunging Saint Laurent. With a pared-down design it made the dragging hem all the more obvious.

9th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

9th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

The 9th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic took place at Will Rogers State Historic Park on Saturday (October 6) in Pacific Palisades, California, with a host of celebrities in attendance.

Camilla Belle: I would’ve expected Camilla to opt for the typical floral, summery dress for this event, so I was pleasantly surprised by this Novis Fall 2018 jumpsuit. Her one-and-done piece should’ve been enhance with better accessories. Both the pink Ming Ray bag and chunky footwear didn’t work for me.

Olivia Wilde: The easy breezy vibe of her Alice + Olivia Spring 2019 suit would’ve been digested better had the trouser been taken up a few inches. I love that she went sans blouse and the accessories which included a Lidia May bag added a fun element.

Angela Sarafyan: The ‘Westworld’ actress can do no wrong, and this summer garden party ready jumpsuit is a glowing testament to that fact. If you didn’t like the accessories worn by Olivia and Camilla, I’m sure you’ll agree that Angela’s was far more complementary.

Olivia Wilde In Kate Spade New York – Good Day New York

Olivia Wilde continued to serve up retro influences for her guest appearance on ‘Good Day New York’ on Tuesday (October 2).

The last time we saw Olivia the mood was ’70s, this time the feeling was very ’60s as she channeled her inner Twiggy wearing a Kate Spade New York Spring 2019 dress with gogo boots (which are swiftly becoming her signature).

I love how the dress’ defining vivid pink print and feminine silhouette was topped off with a ruffled collar for yet more flare.

I will say the slouchy boots aren’t working for me here (I prefer the straight cut runway boots), but I admire the overall vibe of the look.
