Front Row at Chanel Spring 2026 Haute Couture
Matthieu Blazy made his Haute Couture debut for Chanel, and after taking in the full collection, it read more ready-to-wear than couture for me, especially across the first 25 looks.

Psychedelic Play
Dua Lipa served up a psychedelic Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 skirt suit that I would not buy on anyone else. The matching bag completes the look, tapping into the bold, playful spirit I have missed from her.

A Shift in Mood
I was pleasantly surprised by Gracie Abrams. I’m so used to seeing her in ethereal Chanel dresses that this tweed jacket felt like a deliberate change of pace. It pulls her out of the dreamlike lane she often occupies and places her firmly in Chanel’s everyday codes.

No Fluke
Margaret Qualley proves her strong run with Chanel in 2025 was no fluke. This simple yet impactful sequined dress works beautifully, and I’m even buying the pumps.

Accessory?
I’m on the fence with Nicole Kidman. It’s less about the Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 dress, which is doing the heavy lifting, and more about the accessories that are just not working for me. That said, the feather detail is keeping me engaged.

So Close
It’s been a while since we saw Penélope Cruz in Chanel, and for a moment, it felt fresh again. Unfortunately, those shoes which are an enemy of progress.

Only Tilda
I strongly believe I would not be into this Chanel skirt suit had it not been worn by Tilda Swinton. The texture of the top is genuinely intriguing, and she sells it completely.

Ambassador Energy
A$AP Rocky, easily the most active Chanel ambassador of 2026, was always going to be front row. He amped up his leather coat with Chanel accessories, including the Peanut miniaudière from the Pre-Fall 2026 collection.

Soft Focus
Bruna Marquezine wore a breezy Chanel Spring 2026 dress that felt light and effortless, offering a softer counterpoint to the stronger silhouettes and tweeds elsewhere.

Mismatch Moment
Charlotte Casiraghi is usually far more expressive with prints and patterns. This understated ivory Chanel Spring 2026 dress is elegant, but the white and black Chanel shoes completely miss the tone.

A Pause, Not a Pivot
Claire Foy has been more experimental lately, but this Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 leather skirt suit isn’t part of that conversation. It’s well styled and executed, even while lacking the edge that have defined her recent outings.

Black Never Misses
Fernanda Torres will always wear black Chanel, and she will always look good doing it. This is no exception. The sequins lift the look, the silhouette stays classic, and the styling is elegant. Familiar, yes, but effective for a reason.

Almost There
Quen Blackwell in Chanel Spring 2026 brings colour and attitude, which I appreciate, even if it made me think back to Tessa Thompson’s Acne Studios look. The jacket carries the energy, but accessories feel slightly out of sync, which is appears to be the theme at this event.

Quietly Familiar
Vanessa Paradis in Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 dress which was chic, and easy. Everything works, yet nothing surprises.

Soft florals
Zhou Xun in Chanel Spring 2026 delivers a rich colour palette with the floral detailing ensuring the look succeeds.
