Dua Lipa In Versace – The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Dua Lipa In Versace - The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Dua Lipa is never one to shy away from making a statement whether it’s on stage, the red carpet or the street of Manhattan, as she proved while making a guest appearance on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ on Thursday (July 26).

The British singer-songwriter wore head-to-toe Versace Fall 2018 rainbow-hue, graphic-print look which was striking in both colour and design, giving a fresh new meaning to the statement: go bold, or go home.

You may remember that Gigi Hadid wore a similar one-with red patent leather Stuart Weitzman pumps when she attended the CFDA Fashion Awards in back June.

What’s the difference? Dua’s look boost shoulder pads and a high neckline which some might consider dated in comparison to Gigi’s look.

Dua Lipa In Marianna Senchina – Champions League Opening Ceremony Press Day

Dua Lipa was unveiled as the opening ceremony performer for this year’s Champions League final on Thursday (May 24).

The ‘New Rules’ singer will perform at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine on Saturday, May 26 before Liverpool and Real Madrid battle it out for the most prestigious prize in European football.

The opening ceremony performance will be Lipa’s biggest performances to date, only months after she picked up the Best British Female gong at the Brit Awards.

As she was in Kiev, she opt to celebrate the local talent by wearing a look from Marianna Senchina’s Spring 2018 collection.

The Milan-based Ukrainian designer is a master of cool-kitsch pieces that are entirely obsession-worthy, and this would be one of those looks.

From the exaggerated ’80s inspired shape, bold colour and polka dots, what’s not to love?

Dua Lipa In Alexandre Vauthier – 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Before delivered a visually entertaining performance of her single ‘New Rules,’ which featured a stage full of dancers and a giant flamingo, Dua Lipa took to the red carpet at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The singer was paying homage to the ’80s in her purple metallic lamé, bold shouldered look from Alexandre Vauthier’s Fall 2018 collection.

From the dazzle to the draping she would’ve given disco divas of days gone by dress envy.

While I love the Bvlgari High Jewelry Serpenti Sautoir statement necklace and matching earrings, the platform shoes felt a bit heavy for this look.

Dua Lipa In Versace, Armani Privé & Stella McCartney – The BRIT Awards 2018 Performance, Press Room & After-Party

After making an ethereal entrance in Giambattista Valli Spring 2018 Couture at The Brit Awards 2018 on Wednesday (February 21) in London, England, the singer kept up the bold fashion looks throughout the evening.

The BRIT Awards 2018 Performance: For her performance of ‘New Rules,’ she wore a printed cotton denim jacket combined with a printed matching top featuring the Tresor de la Mer print from the Versace Tribute Spring Summer 2018 collection. The oceanic print and mix of colours had a playful quality with the high-cut silhouette showcased her long legs.

Dua Lipa In Giambattista Valli Couture – The BRIT Awards 2018

The pictures are just coming in from The BRIT Awards 2018 in London this afternoon (February 21), with Dua Lipa taking to the red carpet first.

I’m not surprised she arrived early.

If I was wearing this pink Giambattista Valli Spring 2018 Couture tiered tulle gown, I would want to ensure the carpet was clear to make my grand entrance with such grand masterpiece, and avoid people stepping on my 10ft train.

I did wonder if Dua was tempted to wear doc martins to give this look a punk rock edge, but she played up the girliness with strappy sandals.

You weren’t fans of Dua’s last outing in GBV, so how does this look fare?

Dua carried a white rose in solidarity with the Time’s Up movement, as we saw displayed at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
