Catherine, Princess of Wales Wore Gucci To The 2026 BAFTAs
Catherine, Princess of Wales, who serves as President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, attended the ceremony held in London this evening.

She has often championed British labels at this event – Alexander McQueen in particular, in 2019, 2020 and 2023 – but this time she opted for Gucci, repeating a gown from her archive rather than introducing something new.
Catherine swept into the Royal Albert Hall wearing the romantic pink Gucci gown in layered, softly pleated tulle in shades of blush and rose, accented with a burgundy waistband, which she first wore in 2019 to the 100 Women in Finance Gala Dinner.

It even appears she carried the same burgundy velvet Prada clutch, subtly tying in with Prince William’s coordinating burgundy velvet jacket. The colour harmony between them is rare.

I have always loved this dress on her. It feels light, elegant and entirely appropriate for the occasion. What I’m less convinced by is the hair. It looks longer than usual, which makes me wonder if extensions are involved, as the overall finish isn’t in line with her usual glossy waves and instead looks slightly knotted in places.
