Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

With premieres happening from California to Spain and back again, the men were out to celebrate the movies.

Timothée Chalamet: Continuing the success of his last embroidered suit, the young actor wore an Alexander McQueen Resort 2019 powder-blue suit with cherry-blossom embroidery at the ‘Beautiful Boy’ premiere at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain on Monday (September 24). The McQueen sneakers featured red at the heels, adding a dose of urban edge to the look.

Ryan Gosling: Even though we know how much Ryan loves a burnt-orange suit, he skipped it this time out at the ‘First Man’ photocall on Monday (September 24) during the San Sebastian Film Festival. But, he still rocked the same swagger we love with this retro-mod patterned sweater and navy suit.

Bradley Cooper: At the LA premiere of ‘A Star is Born’ on Monday (September 24), Bradley also worked his powder-blue angles in this Gucci three-piece suit that had a vintage mood. Christian Louboutin dress shoes completed the look.

Ryan Gosling Loves Burnt Orange Suits

Ryan Gosling Loves His Gucci Suit

While the likes of Timothée Chalamet, Chadwick Boseman, Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, and most recently Henry Golding are continuing to set the standard when it comes to red carpet menswear, Ryan Gosling is still one of the most stylish men alive.

Because he nails it at every turn.

I noticed that the actor opted to wear a similar version of his burnt orange Gucci suit for the San Sebastian Film Festival premiere of ‘First Man’ on Monday (September 24) in Spain, having worn one during Venice Film Festival.

Why does he manage to make this look work?

It’s a heady mix of bring his own brand of swagger that’s marries ease and elegant, with a sprinkle of retro and modern.

This current vintage style statement is serving him very well, and perhaps it is associated with the movie, or an influence from his girlfriend Eva Mendes.

Do you agree that he is nailing this current look, or do you miss the movie star James Bond-esqe glamour we closely associated him with so long?

Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia 2018

Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia 2018

We’ve already seen a number of beauties who attended the Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia 2018 on Sunday (September 23) in Milan, Italy. But, that was only the beginning.

Donatella Versace: With a very Donatella look, as we’d expect, the designer wore a lemon-bright Atelier Versace embellished gown that featured all of her label’s signature sexy appeal and figure-hugging curves. Naturally, the matching platforms were part of the equation.

Cindy Crawford: Also putting the sultry impact of an Atelier Versace gown to work, the supermodel struck a pose in this design that was rendered in a lovely shade of teal — even if the spidery netting of the corset translated as a bit dated.

Hari Nef: I don’t think this Gucci gown has enough fringe. Anyone else?!

Dakota Johnson In Gucci - 'Bad Times At The El Royale' LA Premiere

Dakota Johnson was back on the red carpet for the premiere of 20th Century FOX’s ‘Bad Times At The El Royale’ on Saturday (September 22) in Hollywood, California.

Combine a fairy tale pink hue and a ton of sparkle and you’ll likely to find me swooning.

That was definitely the case upon sight of Dakota in this gorgeous Gucci gown, styled with David Webb drop earrings.

The actress may flirt with other designers, but in Gucci, she’s at her breath-taking best.

Charlize Theron In Gucci - Caruso's Palisades Village Opening Gala

Charlize Theron was in favoured black for the Caruso’s Palisades Village Opening Gala on Thursday (September 20) in Pacific Palisades, California.

On this occasion the actress wore a Gucci Fall 2018 dress, which has been stripped down from the runway styling.

I love how the dramatic ruffle hem beautifully fusing minimalism and futurism, to a make this a statement look, with the only pop of colour coming from her sea-blue manicure.

Yara Shahidi In Gucci – 2018 Emmy Awards

Yara Shahidi In Gucci - 2018 Emmy Awards

Yara Shahidi proved herself to be the consummate Gucci girl-meets-goddess at the 2018 Emmy Awards on Monday (September 17) in LA.

It has been fascinating to watch starlet’s style evolve, and here with this pretty-in-pink Gucci gown, I think the ‘Grown-ish’ struck the right balance of feminine charm — with a sculptural flourish.

Her beauty look is what really ties it together, with tonal-pink makeup and a topknot to keep the ensemble feeling fresh and youthful.
