Cara Delevingne was easily one the best dressed of the night wearing this Elie Saab Fall 2021 Haute Couture gown.

Prior to her hiatus, the model would lean towards wearing a suit, or menswear inspired looks, but on this occasion she gave us a high glamour moment, that feels fresh from a Vogue photo shoot.

I think the hair and makeup are sharing the honours here too.

When it comes to Allison Williams’ Giambattista Valli Spring 2023 Haute Couture pink and silver floral embellished gown with mesh illusion, white feather hem and pink taffeta tulle cape, you’ll either feel that it has too much going on, or you’ll love that she brought some flare to this red carpet and didn’t play it safe, as she often does.

I personally wish she had worn the cape or arrived without it.

Ava DuVernay and Louis Vuitton continued their in perfect union.

Chloe East wore a Monique Lhuillier gown styled with Kwiat and Fred Leighton jewelry.

Danai Gurira looked beautiful in this Jason Wu Collection gown styled with Messika jewelry, yet this feels very muted by her standards.

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Elizabeth Banks probably should’ve skipped this event if this was the best she could do.

Elizabeth Olsen wore a Givenchy Fall 2023 black metal mesh halterneck dress with fringes, which I don’t feel needed the long black silk organza skirt.

Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and Cartier jewels completed her look.

Eva Longoria brought this Zuhair Murad Spring 2023 gown to the red carpet a little too early.

She should’ve saved this for the Cannes Film Festival.

Chopard jewels completed her look.

You’ll either feel that the train embroidery with fringes and black sequins is a bit random, or like how it added some glamour to the look.

I’m sure the exposed boning detail on Jamie Lee Curtis blush gown was a clear indicator to you all that she was wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda gown which was enriched by hand embroidered Swarovski crystals.

Jessie Buckley brought some gothic glamour to this red carpet wearing a Rodarte Fall 2023 gown which I would’ve put money on being a custom look.

Kate Hudson was also dressed in Rodarte, but her look served up a different style of glamour, which was paired with Rahaminov Diamonds jewelry.

I would never have had Kerry Condon down as an Atelier Versace woman, but Donatella created the most beautiful yellow chiffon gown which was perfectly suited to her understated style.

Malala Yousafzai wore a Ralph Lauren embellished hooded gown styled with Fred Leighton jewelry.

Marlee Matlin wore a Dolce & Gabbana black strapless tiered gown which stood out for its feather trim details.

Some might feel that the cropped tuxedo jacket made this appear too formal.

Melissa McCarthy styled her flame red Christian Siriano look with Gismondi 1754 jewels.

I will commend Vera Wang for ensuring that the sheer mesh panel on Mindy Kaling’s custom dress was the right shade for her skin-tone.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge was looked beautiful wearing a custom Dolce & Gabbana black velvet gown with lace detail and exposed boning inspired by the Spring 2002 collection which she paired with Bulgari jewelry.

Rooney Mara dipped into the archives to find the most Rooney Mara look she could find from the Alexander McQueen Fall 2008 collection, which she styled with Fred Leighton jewelry.

Salma Hayek served up her best look some time wearing an orange Gucci embellished keyhole dress styled with Boucheron jewelry.

I love this, but I know better than to get my hopes up.

While we have seen this style of dress before from Giambattista Valli, we haven’t seen this colour, which is what instantly grabbed my attention first, follow by the complementary Briony Raymond jewelry worn by Sandra Oh.

Sigourney Weaver wore a gold lurex velvet dévoré dress styled with black patent leather kitten heels from Givenchy styled with Fernando Jorge jewels.

My mind changed several times when it came to Stephanie Hsu’s Valentino Spring 2023 Haute Couture gown.

On the one hand I love the colour and silhouette on her, but this fabric is a hard fabric to get on board with.

Taffeta almost never works for me.

Whoever was seated behind Tems was going to have a very restricted view.
