2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards

2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards

Elegance and drama were common themes at the 2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday (November 18) in London. Celebrities joined Jenna Coleman, Claire Foy and Letitia Wright.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge: The evening’s presenter was perfectly coordinated with the backdrop in custom Richard Quinn, Gina shoes and Cartier jewelry. She still shone in her own right thanks to the alluring draped neckline and rich explosion of colourful blooms.

Sophie Okonedo: The winner of the Natasha Richardson Award for Best Actress projected ladylike refinement in Emilia Wickstead Fall 2018. It might not have been an obvious red carpet choice, but I am caught up with the open neckline and how the shoulders merge into the choker detail.

Suki Waterhouse: In Brock Collection Spring 2019, she presented a more unabashed vintage femininity than her typical style but she radiates in the outfit. The flared hem balances the oversized sleeves for a charming finish.

WSJ. Magazine 2018 Innovator Awards

WSJ. Magazine 2018 Innovator Awards

There were many more stars who joined Lupita Nyong’o and Cara Delevingne on the red carpet for the WSJ. Magazine 2018 Innovator Awards on Wednesday (November 7) in New York City.

Dasha Zhukova: We may be deep into the Fall season, but that didn’t deter Dasha from wearing Sara Battaglia’s Resort 2019 crop top and pencil skirt combo. Both the colour and the high waist skirt sell this look to me, along with the pretty pink accessories which included an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch.

Chrissy Teigen: This Alexandre Vauthier off-the-shoulder dress is a mini but might LBD. You may remember that Candice Swanepoel wore this same dress back in September.

Carolyn Murphy: The model always exudes elegance, and that was definitely the case in this Ralph Lauren Pre-Fall 2018 dress. Some might have thrown a lot of accessories at this look, but the dress sells itself.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Rosetta Getty – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ London Screening

Phoebe Waller-Bridge continued to promote ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ at the London screening on Wednesday (May 23). She joined Thandie Newton.

Her Rosetta Getty Pre-Fall 2018 dress oozes refined elegance with its clean shape and lack of embellishment.

The different shoulder straps add a quirky touch without taking away from the graceful drape of the frock or the refreshing feeling of the white fabric.

Rupert Sanderson heels and red lipstick increased the glamorous sentiment.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Mother of Pearl & Emilia Clarke In Michael Kors Collection – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ London Photocall

Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Emilia Clarke joined Thandie Netwon at the ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ London photocall on Friday (May 18).

Phoebe Waller-Bridge: A sweet finish was added to the clean lines of the English beauty’s Mother of Pearl look courtesy of the bow straps. With the refined colour palette and red Jimmy Choo shoes, it was playful as opposed to twee.

Emilia Clarke: The actress showed how a coordinating look can have such dynamism in Michael Kors Collection. The black and white color palette did not feel restrictive in the slightest thanks to the mix of patterns. The outfit was wrapped up with a face-framing bow.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Mother of Pearl & Giambattista Valli Haute Couture – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has been busy promoting ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ at the Cannes Film Festival. Firstly, she attended the photocall on Tuesday (May 15). Then she stepped out this evening for the premiere, alongside Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton and Elizabeth Debicki.

Photocall: I was enchanted when I saw this Mother of Pearl dress as the emerald green colour is divine on her. The voluminous sleeves with embellishment only add to the drama. Completed with the Roger Vivier shoes, it was a strong look that she could have worn to a premiere.

Premiere: After setting the bar high, she continued her fashion reign in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. The whimsical piece with three-dimensional appliques demonstrates how sheer fabric can be incorporated into a look for a cohesive statement. The bow-accented Gianvito Rossi shoes and Messika jewels rounded out the ethereal style.
