Maika Monroe In Valentino – ‘Hot Summer Nights’ Rome Film Festival Premiere

Maika Monroe In Valentino - 'Hot Summer Nights' Rome Film Festival

Maika Monroe took to the red carpet for the Rome Film Festival premiere of ‘Hot Summer Nights’ on Wednesday (October 24) in Italy.

The actress made a dramatic impression in Valentino’s sweeping tulle Resort 2019 gown.

I love how the embroidery bring luster to the midnight black colourway which speaks to the design house’s exceptional craftsmanship.

Brian Atwood sandals and a simple bun completed her look.

Sigourney Weaver In Off-White & Marni – Close Encounter Session Rome Film Festival

Sigourney Weaver In Off-White & Marni - Close Encounter Session Rome Film Festival

Sigourney Weaver, known for some of the biggest box-office hits in history from ‘Alien’ and ‘Ghostbusters’ to ‘Avatar’, participated in a Close Encounter session, during Rome Film Festival on Wednesday (October 24) in Italy.

Photocall: I was very excited about this Off-White Fall 2018 layered look. The trousers made it more age-appropriate, but I was bitterly disappointed by her shoes. Those green ribbons kinds killed the vibe.

Sylvia Hoeks In Christopher Kane & Saint Laurent – ‘The Girl In The Spider’s Web’ Rome Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Sylvia Hoeks In Christopher Kane & Saint Laurent - ‘The Girl In The Spider’s Web’ Rome Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

The bald and beautiful Sylvia Hoeks joined Claire Foy for ‘The Girl In The Spider’s Web’ photocall and premiere during Rome Film Festival on Wednesday (October 24).

Photocall: Her Christopher Kane white cotton tee and pencil skirt are classic examples of closet staples with a contemporary twist – complete with light-reflecting crystal embellishments and a zipper detailing that elevates the pure nature of this Fall 2018 look.

Premiere: Things turned more sultry for the premiere in Saint Laurent. Once again, this was simple design with sequins and a contemporary asymmetrical hemline that was enhanced by cool fringing. Saint Laurent sandals and a silver clutch helped energised the outlook.

Claire Foy In Carolina Herrera & Elie Saab – ‘The Girl In The Spider’s Web’ Rome Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Claire Foy In Carolina Herrera & Elie Saab - 'The Girl In The Spider's Web' Rome Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

After a few months promoting ‘Last Man,’ Claire Foy continued the promoting of ‘The Girl In The Spider’s Web’ during Rome Film Festival on Wednesday (October 24) following the Barcelona photocall back in June.

Photocall: Adorned with wide polka dots, this Carolina Herrera Resort 2019 was full of feminine flair in the look book, but sadly none of the joie de vivre translated to the red carpet. If I was to describe this look in one word it would be “crumpled.”

Isabelle Huppert In Armani Prive – 2018 Rome Film Festival

Isabelle Huppert In Armani Prive - 2018 Rome Film Festival

Isabelle Huppert was honored during the Rome Film Festival with a lifetime achievement award for acting on Saturday (October 20).

The French actress was oozing sophistication wearing an Armani Prive Fall 2018 gown decorated with multi-colour crystals which she styled with Pomellato jewels.

Isabelle often does high glamour, but her presentation is always fuss-free, so I’m not surprised she opted not to wear the sheer gold-beaded bolero on this occasion.

Cate Blanchett In Maison Margiela Haute Couture – ‘The House With A Clock In Its Walls’ Rome Film Festival Premiere

Cate Blanchett In Maison Margiela Haute Couture - ‘The House With A Clock In Its Walls’ Rome Film Festival Premiere

What do you do when the world is expecting something?

You give them something else.

Cate Blanchett has never been predictable, yet I was trying to pick out which look she was going to select from Armani Prive for ‘The House With A Clock In Its Walls’ Rome Film Festival premiere this evening (October 19).

But on this occasion, she had other ideas.

When I saw Cate in this custom Maison Margiela Spring 2018 Haute Couture gown by John Galliano, I felt like the future of fashion had finally arrived.

The prismatic pleated fan takes this look into another realm, one with flying cars and robots dogs we were promised in ‘Back the Future’.

How does she do it? Mind-blown.
