Scarlett Johansson In Celine – ‘Marriage Story’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

I was hoping that Scarlett Johansson would blow us away following the photocall, but even I wasn’t expecting this look for the Venice Film Festival premiere for ‘Marriage Story’ in Italy on Thursday (August 29).

Yup, the wet-look hair is back for a second night, but I think in this case it adds to the glamour of her overall look.

When it comes to her gown, sequins and sultry silhouettes are fast becoming a signature for Celine’s custom gowns.

The pointy bodice we saw on Elle Fanning, the gathered bodice we saw on Melanie Thierry, and the slit continues to make a re-occurrence: see Lady Gaga at the Grammys, Jehnny Beth at the Cesars Awards and Brie Larson at the Oscars.

With that being said, I can very much see this look being on my BDOTY list come December.

It has all the sensual glamour I expect from Scarlett, while feeling very modern and elegant.

This is the one that everyone needs to beat at this festival.
