Naomi Watts In Valentino – Venice Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Naomi Watts In Valentino - Venice Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Naomi Watts graced the red carpet for the final time for the award ceremony that closed the 2018 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 8) in Italy.

The actress wore a Valentino Resort 2019 tulle gown featuring a butterfly which somehow felt symbolic, as a butterfly marks the end of a journey.

And what a journey this has been for Naomi, who has taken risks, and left us in awe of her grace and beauty during this festival.

Did she leave the best to last?

Aisling Franciosi In ADEAM & Givenchy Haute Couture – ‘The Nightingale’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Aisling Franciosi In ADEAM & Givenchy Haute Couture - 'The Nightingale' Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Aisling Franciosi attended the Venice Film Festival photocall and premiere of her latest film, ‘The Nightingale’ on Thursday (September 6) Italy.

Photocall: Does anything beat the classic LBD? Sure, celebs dabble in different cuts and shapes but the premise remains – you can’t go wrong with a versatile classic. This off-the-shoulder dress from ADEAM, crafted with a ribbed knit, sculpts while the uneven hem and contrast ties bring an unexpected addition. Noor Fares earrings and Christian Louboutin sandals completed her look.

Premiere: Oozing grown-up gothic glamour, Aisling’s Givenchy’s Spring Spring 2018 Haute Couture gown took my breath-away. Modified from the runway, this look was all about the delicate lace and Aisling’s perfect poise. This was a sublime showcase of the house’s classically feminine aesthetic, and one of my favourite looks from this festival.

Araya A. Hargate (Chompoo) In Ralph & Russo Couture – ’22 July Red’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Chompoo Araya A Hargate In Ralph & Russo Couture - '22 July Red' Venice Film Festival Premiere

Araya A. Hargate was back on the red carpet for the ’22 July’ premiere during the 2018 Venice Film Festival on Wednesday (September 5) in Italy, as an ambassador for Jaeger-LeCoultre.

The Thai actress wore a look from one of her favourite designers: Ralph & Russo.

If you were put off by the Rita Ora’s gown from the same Fall 2018 Couture collection, Araya’s black glitter polka dot tulle gown should serve as a tamer interpretation of the sheer gown trend.

I think polka dots and tiers give this a light-hearted feel which I believe will help win you over.

Chopard jewels and of course a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch, completed her look.

Following her night in Chanel, Naomi Watts was back on the red carpet for ‘The Nightingale’ premiere during the 2018 Venice Film Festival on Thursday (September 6) in Italy.

The actress wore a very elegant custom black sequined gown with a crystal-embroidered collar from Michael Kors Collection.

By now you may be thinking that I am tearing my hair out at her third black red carpet premiere look in a row.

Quite the opposite, because each look is completely different, as is the styling.

In this instant the emerald green clutch and detailing in her drop earrings keep things, along with the embellishments very classic and interesting.

Tilda Swinton In Chanel Haute Couture – ‘L’Annee Derniere a Marienbad’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Tilda Swinton joined Chloe Sevigny for the ‘L’Annee Derniere a Marienbad’ premiere during the 2018 Venice Film Festival on Wednesday (September 5) in Italy.

Also dressed in Chanel Haute Couture, this look was far more demure than her leopard-print offering earlier this week.

Perhaps due to the simplicity and the embellishments, this made me think of her Chanel look from Cannes Film Festival.

Only the boots really pique my interest here, I think this is one look that might translate better in person, and not look so much like a religious outfit.

Delfina Delettrez jewels completed her look.

Naomi Watts In Chanel - 2018 Venice Film Festival

Naomi Watts was dressed to impressed while attending an event during Venice Film Festival on Wednesday (September 5), as she took a break from her official jury duties.

Dressed in Chanel Resort 2019, I’m surprised this look isn’t Haute Couture considering the construction, design and attention to detail.

I love accessories, especially the Crivelli jewelry.

Her Crivelli diamond earrings with 11 carat of drops and navette cut diamonds and matching ring perfectly complemented the sequin detailing of her dress.
