Laura Dern In Gucci – ‘Marriage Story’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Following the photocall, Laura Dern graced the red carpet this evening (August 29), for the Venice Film Festival premiere for ‘Marriage Story’ in Italy.

As you know I wasn’t really here for Laura’s experimental phase, but after seeing her previous look, and this custom treasure from Gucci, it’s clear that Laura is back on track.

I don’t mind the Fall colour of this custom look, even if the red velvet trim is a bit random, as I’m more intrigued by Laura’s magnetic presence in this look.

I particularly love how the simplicity of the fluid silhouette which is offset by the drama and sparkle of the embellishments.

You wouldn’t expect Laura needed any jewels considering she was dripping with embellishments, but she added an assortment of Buccellati jewelry.
