Scarlett Johansson In Balmain 44 François Premier – 2018 Emmy Awards

Scarlett Johansson In Balmain - 2018 Emmy Awards

Scarlett Johansson showed her support for partner Colin Jost at the 70th Emmy Awards on Monday evening (September 17).

The blonde beauty wore a white Balmain 44 François Premier dress which showcased the brand’s sensual aesthetic.

The fashion house is never one to shy away from shine so it was a nice change of pace to see the frock crafted in matte sequins.

Her finishing touches brought an edgy mood as opposed to easily playing into the va-va-voom sentiment.

Scarlett Johansson In Marchesa – 2018 Met Gala

Like Nicki Minaj, Scarlett Johansson was also clad in a red ombré gown at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 7) in New York City.

The ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ actress opted for a different take with layers of burgundy tulle melding into blush pink in her Marchesa gown.

She often plays into an alluring retro mood or a sensual one, so it was a pleasant change of pace to see her embrace a softer, whimsical mood with this style accented with floral appliqués. Of course, it wasn’t completely without a flirty undercurrent thanks to the gossamer fabric of the bodice.

Scarlett Johansson In Erdem – ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ LA Premiere

I was very excited to see a jam packed red carpet for the world premiere of Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ on Monday (April 23) in LA, with an almost unrecognisable Scarlett Johansson in attendance.

Giving her brunette locks their red carpet debut, the actress stunned in a gorgeous Erdem Fall 2018 sequin dress with 3-D floral embroidery creating a greater impact, styled with the polka-dot leggings we saw on the runway.

I love that this look played into the superhero theme, especially with the eye makeup, while still being elegant.

If I could change one thing I would have lost the choker, however, this was a go big event, so I understand its addition in that respect.

Scarlett Johansson In Vintage Yves Saint Laurent – American Museum Of Natural History’s 2017 Museum Gala

Having not been seen on the red carpet since June, Scarlett Johansson made a return for the American Museum Of Natural History’s 2017 Museum Gala on Thursday (November 30) in New York City.

Sporting a very Lady Diana-esqe hairstyle, the actress wore a vintage Yves Saint Laurent for the evening.

Some might not be too impressed by how the fabric is holding out, but I’m enjoying seeing a return to glamour from Scarlett.

Styled with all red accessories from Stuart Weitzman and Judith Leiber, she opted to keep her makeup neutral.

Scarlett Johansson In Proenza Schouler -The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Scarlett Johansson looked picture perfect as she headed to ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ on Tuesday (June 13) in New York City.

The ‘Rough Night’ actress looked surprisingly fresh following her premiere the night before.

I like how the pretty lace panels and free-flowing skirt keep her Proenza Schouler dress light and airy.

A glossy pink lip and minimal makeup match this seasonal ensemble perfectly, whilst the Stuart Weitzman ‘Bebare’ sandals keep it classy.

The hair is much improved here, as is her mood, which gives the whole look an instant lift.

Scarlett Johansson In Michael Kors Collection – ‘Rough Night’ New York Premiere

Scarlett Johansson shone at the New York premiere of Sony’s ‘Rough Night’ on Monday (June 12) alongside Demi Moore and Zoe Kravitz

The actress once again opted for a custom Michael Kors Collection creation, this time a gown.

However, unlike her Tony Award’s ensemble, this look wasn’t quite a knockout.

My first issue is that the shimmering sequins seemed to wash her out and whilst I loved the black nails and cat eye, the severe slicked back hair looks unflattering.

A custom Judith Leiber clutch added some personality to what is otherwise an unoriginal look.

Was this a hit or a miss for you?
