Tracee Ellis Ross In Tory Burch – 2018 Producers Guild Awards

Tracee Ellis Ross attended the 2018 Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 20).

The actress opted for a stunning coral dress from the Tory Burch Resort 2018 collection, paired with a gold clutch and earthy gold earrings.

I am seriously tempted just to type #queen and move on, but I’ll expound a bit! This is such a joyful, regal gown, and it might just be my favorite from award season, so far. The beading is exquisite and the color is refreshing and unique.

And the icing on the delicious fashion cake is the makeup: By choosing to leave the eye makeup out of the equation and simply wearing a wash of red lipstick, Tracee and her team solidified this look as one that will be remembered for seasons to come.

Greta Gerwig In Monse – 2018 Producers Guild Awards

Greta Gerwig attended the 2018 Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 20).

The actress and director wore a deep emerald Monse gown from the Pre-Fall 2018 collection accompanied with a Roger Vivier ‘Cigarette’ bag.

While I simply adore this color, and appreciate that this gown fits perfectly into Greta’s personal aesthetic, I’m just not 100% sold on it. I actually really like the asymmetrical seaming, which adds some fun visual interest, but I think it’s the combination of it with the ruched sleeves and the shoulder cut-outs that just makes it all too much for me.

What do you think? Are on board, or questioning the look?

Margot Robbie In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Producers Guild Awards

Margot Robbie took a turn on the red carpet at the 2018 Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 20).

The award season darling wore a Spring 2018 Louis Vuitton gown with draped leather sleeves and silver mini pailette embroidered straps.

This is the type of gown that really excites an actress in the midst of a busy award season. Often, details like these leather draped sleeves are lost from afar, but I can’t help but take note–they add a visually appealing and on-trend element that you know is also fun to wear.

The deep-set part in Margot’s hair is dramatic, and no one pulls off that ever-so-slight bend quite like her. I’m also a huge fan of the nude lip with the cat eye–once again, the trend of not trying too hard is refreshing and its own brand of impactful.

Gal Gadot In Armani Prive – 2018 Producers Guild Awards

Gal Gadot was radiant at the 2018 Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 20).

Continuing to make me swoon in every way, the actress wore a custom Armani Prive gown with a few well-placed Anita Ko jewels and Gianvito Rossi sandals.

This is the type of gown that leaves no question as to why you would go the custom route–every proportion and seem is flawless, and the result is a truly superb red carpet moment. The floral effect is feminine, but the design is fierce.

I love the choice of leaving Gal’s hair down and relaxed, because it somehow makes it so effortless–as if she doesn’t even have to try to look so stunning. And the red lip and manicure is a classic choice that never fails.

Kerry Washington In Paolo Sebastian – 2018 Producers Guild Awards

Kerry Washington also graced the 2018 Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 20).

The actress wore a Fall 2016 Paolo Sebastian gown with various jewels from Graziela Gems, Effy Jewelry and EF Collection.

This gown is such a statement, and looks beautiful on Kerry. The embroidery is both fun and elegant, and of course, the presence of print makes her stand out from her red carpet peers.

I love the shorter hemline, though I wish that it was a bit shorter on Kerry, as we see at the runway presentation, as that tea length is such perfection.

The ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ ponytail as I love to call it is making a big return to the scene this season, and it is fierce on the actress. Her berry lip is the perfect complement to the gown.

Mary J Blige In Elie Saab – 2018 Producers Guild Awards

Mary J. Blige attended the 2018 Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 20).

For the affair, she wore a Elie Saab gown from the 2018 collection with Chopard jewels.

Elie Saab and the singer don’t typically share a similar aesthetic, but with the more mod, tailored looks in the designer’s Spring collection, this really is a perfect match.  Both the bright color and caped sleeves offer the drama Mary J. loves and those pops of lace keep things just demure enough.

Front Row @ Dior Homme Fall 2018

Some of Dior’s most dashing and fashionably daring fans were in attendance at the brand’s Dior Homme Fall 2018 show, held on Saturday (January 20) during Paris Fashion Week.

Robert Pattinson: Monochromatic black proved far from boring on Robert, who cut an impossibly cool profile by wearing a Dior Homme leather bomber jacket over his Dior Homme suit. I love the slightly rebellious effect it provided. A black cotton tee and black leather derbies completed the look.

Bella Hadid: Speaking of style rebels, look no further than Bella who walked on the wild side with Dior Homme’s ‘New Look’ jacket and pants featuring an all-over tribal print. Her silver sunglasses and bandana echoed the same print, with the exposed bra adding her signature side of sexiness. I know those red, fluorescent yellow and white techno sneakers may be a marmite addition to the look, but I was a fan of their unexpectedness.

Future: Rocking the same sneakers that again shone like a beacon on an all-black look, Future paired his with a Dior Homme shiny-effect leather bomber jacket styled over a wool turtleneck and wool pants. The metal round sunglasses added even more attitude.
