Recently I attended the Jil Sander Fall 2010 presentation during Milan Fashion Week.
In my review I said “Tilda Swinton, this collection was made for you”, and it looks like she agreed with me.
At the “Io Sono L’Amore” photocall in Milan this afternoon, Tilda looked beautiful on the red carpet wearing a black Jil Sander Fall 2010 wool dress.
The dress has box squared cuts through-out.
Her look was kept minimal as she only paired her look with black heels.
This was one of my favourite pieces from the Jil Sander Fall 2010 collection, and I’m delighted to see Tilda wearing it so soon after it was presented.

Uhm Jung Hwa attended the press conference for her new movie “Best Seller” last week.
The beautiful actress looked amazing wearing a blue Stella McCartney strapless tuxedo dress from the Spring 2010 collection.
You may remember that Natalie Portman wore the same dress on The Late Show with Letterman last year.
Natalie paired her dress with Aldo heels, but Uhm opted for high-end, wearing a pair of Balenciaga platform sandals from the Spring 2007 collection.
I adore this dress. It’s so cute and chic.
Wearing her hair up and opting for minimal jewelry was the perfect way to go for this look, but I would’ve preferred heels in a lighter colour like the one’s the model wore on the runway.

Princess Azemah attended the “The Noble Gift Gala” hosted by Eva Longoria this weekend.
It seems like it was a very fashionable weekend for royals.
Queen Rania of Jordan wore Lanvin, and here we have Princess Azemah wearing Gucci.
The Princess slightly modified her black Gucci Spring 2010 gown by dialing down the sexiness, taking it from 100% to 60% by covering the cut-outs on the waist, but keeping them on the yoke.
If I could afford to purchase one of these gowns I would go for Princess Azemah’s modified version. It sexy, without being too obvious like the runway version.
I also like the way the harness detail on the bodice stands out more on Princess Azemah gown.

Eva Longoria was in London this weekend to hosts “The Noble Gift Gala” at the Dorchester hotel.
Whenever Eva is the host at an event she ensures that she stands out.
This occasion was no different as the “Desperate Housewives” star glowed wearing a red silk Ralph & Russo gown.
The custom made asymmetrical gown had Swarovski crystal embellished straps going across the back of her gown, which dipped so low we get a glimpse of Eva’s tattoo.
From the rosette detail on her behind flows a long train which I think the gown could have gone without.
This is the best Eva has looked in a long while, but Ken Paves has got to stop aging her with these mumsy hairstyles.

Back in November I received an email from Mark Holgate. The subject read, “American Vogue March 2010.” I nearly fell off my chair.
Mark asked me if I would be interested in participating in a fashion bloggers story the magazine was going to feature in it’s March 2010 ‘Power Issue’.
I was shocked that I was even on American Vogue’s radar, but incredibly honoured to be asked.
A few days before the shoot, I joking prayed that I was get a flu bug like Emily Blunt’s character in “The Devil Wears Prada”.
My mother always said be careful what you wish for, because 2 days before the shoot I got food poisoning and was so ill I couldn’t get out of bed.
I dragged myself out of bed 2 days later and finally made it to New York still quite ill, but determined not to miss this shoot.
All the bloggers who were invited to participate in the shoot met in the lobby of the Conde Nast building before we headed to the Bronx for the photo-shoot.
The bloggers included Bryanboy, Tommy Ton of Jak & Jill, Todd Selby of The Selby, Yvan Rodic of Facehunter, Garance Dore, Hanneli Mustaparta, Mary Tomer of Mrs O and Michelle Phan who has an amazing beauty tutorial YouTube page.
After being briefed about our shoot, we all went into hair and make-up. Read more…

Nicola Roberts was spotted leaving her hotel in London looking very summery as she headed out to dinner with her mum and sister last night.
Whilst her companions wore black, she stood out wearing a colourful Vivienne Westwood taffeta check Sunday Bale dress.
The Girls Aloud singer paired her dress with Chanel embellished t-bar heels and a black quilted Chanel purse.
I love the look, but wish the accessories were as colourful as the dress.

On Friday ‘The Daily Beast’, ‘Vital Voices’, Diane von Furstenberg, and the U.N. Foundation brought together many of the world’s most inspiring female leaders to host ‘Women in the World: Stories And Solutions’.
Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan was one of the guests who attended the conference on empowering women across the globe.
She looked beautiful wearing a floral print Lanvin Resort 2010 dress which she belted.
We’ve seen Carey Mulligan wear the same dress last year.
Queen Rania of Jordan’s dress was paired with a black tuxedo jacket, a black clutch, and pewter pumps which complemented the grey tones in her dress.
I love seeing royals wearing runway clothes.
We tend to believe that being a royal means wearing unfashionable clothes, but Queen Rania Of Jordan, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Princess Madeleine of Sweden continue to prove that theory to be wrong.
