Sophie Hunter In Emilia Wickstead – 2018 Emmy Awards

Sophie Hunter In Erdem - 2018 Emmy Awards

Usually when the roundup posts are complete, it’s the end of the coverage, but I’m a sucker for a good maternity moment, especially one as breath-taking as this.

Sophie Hunter, who is expecting her third child, looked absolutely radiant at the 2018 Emmy Awards in bright yellow Emilia Wickstead double faced cloque gown from the Resort 2019 collection.

The silhouette is so simple, yet the impact is almost on par with the arresting colour.

Then we come to the jewels. The emeralds really pop alongside the sunshine hue and round off this magic moment in some style.

When it comes to Benedict Cumberbatch, I’m usually not a fan of black and navy suits, but there is something about his presentation, the cut of the suit and the tone of blue that warms me to this look.

The men also had their style moment at the 2018 Emmy Awards on Monday (September 17) in LA, with many of the boys showing their older peers how it’s done.

Noah Schnapp: Can a look be simultaneously cute and cool? Yes, it can, with this Fendi Made to Measure Suit that had all the cool-kid, retro-forward charm you can possibly imagine for this ‘Stranger Things’ actor.

Dacre Montgomery: Something about this Brunello Cucinelli tux styled with Montblanc studs and Jimmy Choo ‘Penn’ shoes had a prom-meets-Victorian flavor. Must have been the corsage and the mustache.

Joe Keery: The ‘Stranger Things’ actor got in on the cropped trend with this Dolce & Gabbana blue suit paired with a Montblanc watch and cufflinks. Speaking of prom, his hair always reminds me of a throwback dance moment.

2018 Emmys

There were many more stars in the 2018 Emmy Awards constellation on Monday (September 17) in LA.

Madelaine Petsch: The starlet complemented her cascade of auburn waves with a Prada gown that furtively cloaked a shiny embroidered skirt under cloudy tulle layers.

Tatiana Maslany: This Christian Siriano design was inspired by the Spring 2019 collection, with the highlighter-yellow front train delivering all the sass you could possibly want. Christian Louboutin heels and EF Collection jewels completed the neon-bright entrance.

Laura Dern In Thom Browne – 2018 Emmy Awards

Laura Dern In Thom Browne - 2018 Emmy Awards

Laura Dern offered up quite the risk-taking look at the 2018 Emmy Awards on Monday (September 17) in LA.

No, it wasn’t body-baring or particularly avant-garde. But, the custom Thom Browne set was a bit bizarre, what with the combo of the silk top and embroidered lace bustier dress — not to mention the string of pearls and big retro curls.

Sometimes fashion risks pay off; sometimes they don’t. I’ll have to place this look in the latter category, as the quirky factor didn’t work for me here. But, I can still appreciate her experimental flair.
