Mikey Madison Makes Her Red Carpet Return in Standing Ground

Mikey Madison made her major return to the red carpet for the premiere of The Social Reckoning, in which she plays Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen in the follow-up to the 2010 film The Social Network.

We haven’t seen much of Mikey lately, aside from Tiffany & Co. events and appearances on the front row at Dior, so I fully expected Dior for her first major premiere back. Instead, she surprised me in Standing Ground Fall 2026.

We’ve been day-one fans of Michael Stewart’s label, with Tilda Swinton and Naomie Harris among the women who first brought his sculptural designs to the red carpet. Both have the height these statuesque gowns seem to demand, but we’ve also seen with Florence Pugh that Standing Ground’s proportions don’t automatically work on everyone.

That’s why I’m so impressed by how Mikey commands this striking chartreuse design. The meticulously sculpted, bead-textured bodice creates that unmistakable Standing Ground silhouette, yet despite Mikey being considerably shorter than the women we’ve previously seen wearing the label, the proportions don’t overwhelm her at all.

I have a feeling some of you will be put off by the black disc peeking above the neckline, but I love how it interrupts the chartreuse and gives the neckline an even stranger, more graphic quality. Removing it would make the dress easier, but far less interesting.
