‘And Just Like That…’ Season Two Celebration

The promo tour for ‘And Just Like That…’ kinda came and went without much fanfare prior to season two airing in the US on Thursday.

There wasn’t even a premiere or a screening, which is disappointing because when they were promoting ‘Sex And The City’ it always felt like a major event.

What we did get is a cast photo which most of the ladies shared to their Instagram on the night of the season premiere, which also celebrated 25 years of ‘Sex And The City.’

Damn I feel old right now. 

Nikki Parker continued to show love to the house of Valentino wearing a look from the Fall 2023 Black Tie collection which may have been confused with Carolina Herrera had it not been for the sheer shirt and the black tie.

There was a lot going on with Cynthia Nixon’s Sacai Spring 2023 look.

The white ruffle underlayer makes the look appear bulky and overwhelming.

Then we come to the Sacai trousers which – like the dress/top – is a fresh take on classic tailoring with the flared silhouette enhanced with sharp pleats.

But they were ultimately too long for her.

Sarita Choudhury was perhaps the best dressed here wearing a beautiful archival ivory satin and lace dress from Balenciaga styled with Briony Raymond jewels.

Sarah Jessica Parker wore a Ralph Lauren Collection Spring 2015 gown featuring an enchanting tulle skirt, metallic threadwork and gold and champagne toned beads which needed subtle accessories.

But in true Carrie Fashion, the actress overstyled the look with a mardi gras-style necklace, Fendi baguette and hot pink shoes from her own SJP collection.

The accessories killed the look for me.

I much prefer Charlene, Princess of Monaco’s styling of this gown when she wore it to the Monte-Carlo Television Festival back in 2016. 

Kristin Davis kept things super simple wearing a LBD that you might be surprised to learn is from Versace.

You may have guessed, had you seen the Medusa ’95 hardware on the shoulder straps of this draped dress which hails from the Icons Collection.

Jimmy Choo Kaylee sandals completed her look.

Karen Pittman brought plenty of sparkle to the event wearing a Magda Butrym flower accented sequin netted gown which is more sheer than she realised.
