Cara Delevingne Takes a Different Styling Route for ‘Club Kid’

Cara Delevingne attended the Club Kid New York premiere, held at Regal Union Square on Thursday evening, giving us our third Erdem Spring 2027 look of the night, following fellow Brits Keira Knightley and Cynthia Erivo.

I remember the Erdem Spring 2026 collection being wildly popular with celebrities, but I don’t recall ever seeing three looks from the same Erdem collection in one night.

Unfortunately, Cara’s look was my least favourite of the three, for two reasons.

Firstly, I am not a fan of the crinkled ivory fabric. I know the texture is part of the design, but I just can’t get on board with that permanently creased appearance.

Secondly, both the ivory ensemble and the black fringed jacket are far too oversized on her. There is so much fabric here that Cara looks completely swamped, especially compared to how the pieces were presented on the runway.

The only things working for me are the concept, that fabulous sculptural wing collar, and her New Romantic-inspired hair and makeup.

I wanted to love this, but the execution just isn’t working for me.
