Pamela Anderson Embraces Sweater Season at Hublot x Jeff Koons Launch

Hublot celebrated its new collaboration with American artist and ambassador Jeff Koons with an event at Studio 525 in New York City’s Chelsea neighbourhood. The evening marked the launch of the Classic Fusion Balloon Dog Collection and the MP-14 Origin by Jeff Koons, bringing the artist’s signature Balloon Dog into the world of watchmaking.

Pamela Anderson continues to be the woman about town while promoting her new film Place to Be, dressed in a Magda Butrym dimensional-sleeve wool turtleneck with a sequin pencil skirt.

After the summer heatwave, I have been ready for sweater season for a while, so this look is speaking directly to me. I love the contrast between the cosy knit and the sequins, which makes the all-cream palette feel far more interesting than it might have otherwise.

The sequins give the look a touch of Fashion Week sparkle, while wearing the Hublot timepiece over the sweater clearly makes sense for the purpose of the event. It may not be how she would ordinarily style a watch, but this was one accessory that needed to be seen. Some may therefore feel that a dimensional-sleeve top wasn’t the best choice and that a shorter sleeve would have showcased the watch more naturally, but I don’t feel that she should sacrifice the sweater for the sake of the timepiece.

Jimmy Choo Love pumps completed her look.
