Olivia Wilde Returns to Tailoring For ‘The Invite’ Paris Premiere
With her co-stars Penélope Cruz and Seth Rogen at TIFF promoting other projects, it was left to Olivia Wilde to continue the promo tour for their new film, The Invite, at the Paris premiere.

I have missed Olivia in a suit. I still remember her Bella Freud era, when tailoring was such a regular part of her wardrobe, so I was delighted to see her return to it here.
The Saint Laurent Pre-Fall 2026 Prince of Wales check suit already has plenty of presence thanks to the oversized double-breasted jacket and flared trousers, but it is the burgundy lavallière blouse that makes this work for me. The colour warms up the brown tones of the tailoring, while giving the traditional check a completely different energy.
Knowing how some brands insist on full looks, leaving out the faux-fur cuffs was a smart omission. They would have competed with everything I love about the suit, and taken this down a comical path.
Saint Laurent Bumpy double-disc earrings and Voltaire slingback pumps completed her look.
It’s been a long while since I loved an Olivia Wilde look this much, but there isn’t a single thing I would change here. Perfection from head to toe.
