Anna Foglietta’s Three Venice Looks: Balenciaga to Ferragamo
Anna Foglietta attended the Bunker premiere, Un Passo Alla Volta screening and Un Bon Petit Soldat premiere during the 2026 Venice Film Festival, moving between Balenciaga and Ferragamo for three appearances.

Bunker Premiere
I adore the draped asymmetric top of this Balenciaga look. The soft sage green is beautiful on Anna, but the trousers lose me. Despite sitting very high on the waist, the combination of the volume, length and wide silhouette overwhelms her.

There is simply too much fabric here. Shorter trousers would have made a considerable difference.

Un Passo Alla Volta Screening
This is what you call styling.
Anna took a Ferragamo Fall 2026 look and made it her own, keeping the liquid-gold high-neck top while replacing the matching skirt with black trousers. On the runway, that much gold is a lot to process, whereas the black breaks it up and makes the metallic top the focus.
Tucking it into the trousers was equally important, allowing the long panel to fall freely at one side. For me, Anna’s version is far superior to the runway styling.

Un Bon Petit Soldat Premiere
My favourite of the three was this Balenciaga gown, inspired by Cristóbal Balenciaga’s iconic Sack dress. You can see the reference in the loose, cocooning shape and the way the fabric falls from the shoulders before narrowing towards the hem, but Pierpaolo Piccioli’s version presents a modern outlook.
I’m choosing to ignore those white Balenciaga duchesse pumps because the purple is divine on Anna. I’m also glad Pierpaolo Piccioli hasn’t simply revisited PP Pink and saturated the red carpet with another signature shade. We’ve already seen this purple on Amal Clooney, Michelle Yeoh and Rachel Sennott, and it is proving to be one of the standout colours of his Balenciaga so far.

The draping is also a major part of why this works for me. It creates an interesting silhouette while allowing the colour to remain the main event. Had she worn a different shoe, this would have been an easy head-to-toe win.
