Elle Fanning Channels Effie Trinket in Vivienne Westwood

Until now, press duties for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping have largely fallen to leading lady Mckenna Grace, but Elle Fanning has finally joined the fashion conversation. Currently in London promoting the film, the actress is giving us our first taste of her take on Effie Trinket.

Effie is a complex character with one of the most memorable wardrobes in The Hunger Games franchise. Those are some very big Alexander McQueen Armadillo boots to fill, but Elle has wasted no time embracing the character’s eccentric fashion sense in this Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring 2026 floral-print look.

The fitted jacket and matching pencil skirt are unmistakably Effie-coded, combining ladylike tailoring with the character’s love of extravagant details. The embellished bows, floral appliqués and jewelled decorations feel like little trinkets, pun intended, scattered across the jacket, making this an especially fitting choice for the character she plays.
