Michelle Yeoh Wore Balenciaga To The ‘Wicked: For Good’ Paris Photocall
Michelle Yeoh joined Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande inside the gilded halls of the Palais Garnier for the Wicked: For Good Paris photocall, and her arrival brought a different kind of orchestration to the room.

While the creative director carousel has prompted some celebrities to seek new homes (Nicole Kidman shifting from Balenciaga to Chanel being the most noteworthy example), Michelle Yeoh has remained firmly in the Balenciaga camp. And honestly? I think Pierpaolo Piccioli’s tenure is going to serve her beautifully. The romantic drama he brings is much closer to her natural elegance than Demna’s harsher, sculptural extremes.
For this moment, Michelle wore a custom dress inspired by the Balenciaga Spring 2026 runway. The violet hue instantly sets her apart from both Ariana and Cynthia — and was a clever play, considering Cynthia will almost always reach for black. The gown’s cape and full skirt create an aura of ease and command without feeling OTT.
My only gripe? The gloves. The colour doesn’t work, and the fit is baggy, messy, and slouchy — which just isn’t very elegant. If you’re going to commit to an opera glove, it needs to fit perfectly.
But what truly surprised me is the absence of her signature Richard Mille watch.
