The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

It was a jam-packed red carpet at The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party on Saturday (January 5) in Los Angeles, California, with 18 more more ladies joining Thandie Newton,  Emma StoneKiki LayneGemma Chan and Laura Harrier.

Emily Blunt: I was at first swept away by the beautiful Oscar de la Renta Pre Fall 2019 tulle polka dot dress, then I fell more in love with this look when I got to the yellow sandals.

Rachel Brosnahan: The colour of this weekend for Rachel was yellow. You were slightly underwhelmed by her Golden Globes offering, so how does this Christian Siriano Spring 2019 embellished sheath fare? The look was beautifully styled with yellow and gold Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ pumps.

Rosamund Pike: It looks like the Pike x Givenchy union has a lot more to offer, and you’ll find me complaining following her Golden Globes outing and this flouncy Spring 2019 asymmetric dress. The only thing missing from this union is some colour every once in a while, as I’m worried this might hit a Rooney Mara “always black” brick wall. Pierre Hardy ‘Gena’ sandals completed her look.

Laura Harrier In Altuzarra – BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Laura Harrier In Altuzarra - BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

Laura Harrier dazzled at the BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party on Saturday (January 5), alongside Gemma Chan, Emma Stone and Lily Collins.

The ‘BlacKkKlansman’ actress looked ready to party in Altuzarra Spring 2019.

The combination of the sequins, long paillettes and print could have been overkill but the sleek silhouettes and cut-outs keep things in check.

She didn’t overcook the outfit with her styling, either.

InStyle And Warner Bros. Golden Globes After Party

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features InStyle And Warner Bros. Golden Globes After Party

The InStyle and Warner Bros. 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards Post-Party on Sunday (January 6) in Beverly Hills, California, was the most attended party last night, so strap in for the 41 looks.

Rowan Blanchard: There are many of you who haven’t been able to get on board with Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2019 ruffles. This crinkle organza multi layer dress was a tall order for the petite star, but with her new pixie hair, Buccellati jewels and confident attitude, she pulls this off for me, even though I’m not fan of her Roger Vivier sandals.

Kiki Layne: The ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ actress swapped her Dior for Valentino, wearing sparkling tiered whimsy dress from the Spring 2019 collection. This is another dress which may see you divided, but I think she carries if off with great aplomb.

Nina Dobrev In Altuzarra – The IMDb Show

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Nina Dobrev In Altuzarra Visits The IMDb Show

Nina Dobrev paid a visit to ‘The IMDb Show’ on Friday (December 14) in Studio City, California, which is set to air on January 10.

The actress was on the show to promote her new comedy series, ‘Fam.’

If you’re thinking it’s a bit too soon to be wearing gingham, my local supermarket is already stocking Easter Eggs, so apparently there is no such thing as too soon anymore.

Altuzarra’s take on gingham is refreshing – both on and off the runway.

The sexier runway version is presented in a more sophisticated manner via Nina, where you get to see ruched detailing along its fitted midi-length silhouette.

I’m not sure how else you’d style a gingham dress in December, so I’m take those feminine knotted black sandals.

Emily Blunt In Altuzarra – 2019 AFI Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emily Blunt In Altuzarra - 2019 AFI Awards

It’s been a busy day for Emily Blunt following the Variety’s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch Brunch.

So much so, that she didn’t have time to change out of her pink Brian Atwood sandals for the 2019 AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel today (January 4) in California.

However, they added a fresh touch to her forest-green Altuzarra Pre-Fall 2019 floral jacquard suit.

Black sandals wouldn’t have been frown upon, but I do love how unexpectedly harmonious this is.

Jewels from Graziela Gems, Dana Rebecca Designs and EFFY Jewelry completed her look.

Rosamund Pike In Altuzarra – ‘A Private War’ Special Screening

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature Rosamund Pike In Altuzarra - 'A Private War' Special Screening

Rosamund Pike who is up for Promo Star of 2018 for ‘A Private War’ attended a special screening for her film in London on Wednesday (December 12).

Her tour so far has consisted of sleek looks from McQueen and Givenchy, and on this occasion she something different in Altuzarra.

Cut-outs and sheerness isn’t something we associate with Rosamund’s style, but the end result is contemporary rather than try-hard.

Millie Bobby Brown In Emilia Wickstead & Altuzarra – UNICEF’s World Children’s Day

Millie Bobby Brown In Emilia Wickstead & Altuzarra - UNICEF's World Children's Day

‘Stranger Things’ actress Millie Bobby Brown has been appointed UNICEF’s newest Goodwill Ambassador.

At the age of 14, the British-born star is the youngest ever ambassador to take on the prestigious role.

On Tuesday (November 20), she attended two engagements. One was a press conference where she said, “In becoming a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, I share the title with a hero of mine – the late, great Audrey Hepburn, who once said: “As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping others and one for helping yourself”.”

Press Conference: I love the first look, mostly because of the geeky glasses, but also because of her playful Emilia Wickstead Resort 2019 mini styled with Tabitha Simmons white ‘Zippy’ boots to give the look an edge. A layer of chic appeal was imbued via her Calvin Klein coat. You may remember that Gemma Arterton wore this same dress back in July.

The Empire State Building: In lighting up The Empire State Building in honour of UNICEF and World Children’s Day, the actress changed into a Altuzarra Spring 2019 dress. “Gingham, for Fall?” I hear you say. Well, this is a fresh challenge and a fresh chapter in young stars life, so I’m fully on board with this charming shirt dress with Chloe Gosselin ‘Olympe’ mules that lend contemporary finesse while the flattering length makes it smart.
