Gal Gadot Wore Altuzarra To The Breakthrough Prize Ceremony
Gal Gadot made her first red carpet appearance of the year at the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony held in Santa Monica on Saturday.

Wearing a look from the Altuzarra Fall 2026 collection, this continues her muted direction.
The cropped jacket brings a tailored, elevated finish and helps frame the look with a sharper point of view, offering contrast to the smocked dress underneath. While the dress leans heavier in texture, the combination still reads as an attempt to balance structure with an overall understated presence on the red carpet.
It may not deliver the kind of impact we’ve come to expect from her, but I would say there is some value in seeing her explore a different register; one that doesn’t rely on high-impact colour.
That said, I do find myself missing the precision of her previous style era. I have struggled to connect with Gal’s looks since she stopped working with Elizabeth Stewart. Her brief Snow White press tour offered very little, and her red gowns for both the 2025 Oscars and Vanity Fair Oscar Party were a miss. It has now been over a year since I last loved one of her red carpet looks, and this subdued outing isn’t exactly reigniting that excitement.
