Demi Moore Wore Saint Laurent To The ‘I Love Boosters’ SXSW Premiere

Demi Moore joined her co-star Naomi Ackie for the I Love Boosters premiere during the SXSW Conference & Festivals in Austin, Texas on Thursday.

After two years of dramatic, sculptural, and architectural red carpet looks from Demi Moore, this draped silhouette from Saint Laurent’s Resort 2026 collection feels surprisingly refreshing.

Some of you might be looking at this dress, with its sensational thigh-high slit, and having a sense of déjà vu. That is likely due to the orange ribbon detail, which we previously saw on Zoe Saldana’s dress from the same collection at the Avatar: Fire and Ash world premiere last year.

Some of you felt that look was too muted for a world premiere, but considering SXSW is usually a far more laid-back festival, I do not mind celebrities bringing a little extra glamour to this red carpet. That is what we want, after all, right?

I remember when the Toronto Film Festival was also considered relatively relaxed from a fashion standpoint, yet it has gradually evolved into a full-blown glamour showcase. At this rate, I would not be surprised if we see our first gown at Comic-Con one day.

Demi styled her look with gold Saint Laurent bracelets, but the real MVP here is the footwear. I have genuinely missed intricate sandals on the red carpet, especially after years of everyone defaulting to ultra-minimal styles once Stuart Weitzman’s Nudist sandals became the industry standard. These Saint Laurent Mon Chéri sandals, with their delicate straps and cherry charm ankle detail, bring back the kind of red carpet shoe moment that gives me nostalgic feels.
