Mariacarla Boscono Wore Dolce & Gabbana To The 2023 Venice Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Mariacarla Boscono attended the opening ceremony of the 2023 Venice International Film Festival this evening (August 30) in Italy.

There are some red carpet looks that don’t need titles or introductions, and this is one of them.

You don’t need me to tell you that this red chiffon gown and laced corset was designed by Dolce & Gabbana, as the Dolce DNA is wildly apparent.

I love the contradiction between the diaphanous fabric and the structure of the corset which has Gothic overtones.

Classic elegance and bold femininity are at the heart of Dolce & Gabbana, which is clearly exemplified by this standout look which saw Mariacarla channel a modern day Little Red Riding Hood.

Red thigh high stocking boots and gloves adds to the statement making look. 

This is one of the rare occasions where the sketch is just as good as the final outcome.
