Kendall Jenner Wore Sheer Gucci To Her 818 Tequila Event
Kendall Jenner hosted a party at Delilah in Los Angeles on Friday (August 18), for her tequila brand 818.
When it comes to Kendall and sheer dresses, the two go hand-in-hand, but something was different on this occasion.
Kendall is no stranger to freeing the nipple, so it might come as a surprised to you to learn that she opted to wear Gucci GG logo underwear with her Gucci green and nude one-shoulder light jersey overlapping midi dress from the Fall 2023 collection.
I love it when a label places emphasis on the two SSs: sensuality and silhouette, and those were both on full display with this asymmetrical midi dress which had a much looser fit on the runway.
I can’t say I’m crazy about the rose beige mesh Gucci GG slingback pumps, as I feel that solid nude shoes would’ve added to the naked illusion effect, but I did love how she selected a Gucci Horsebit Chain bag in subtle green and nude shades to complement her dress, which made its debut in Tom Ford’s Gucci Spring 2004 show.
Sheer dresses can be very hit and miss, and I know many of you see them as the epitome of bad taste, as they leave little to the imagination, but I love this look from the ankle up.
Unlike Dua Lipa’s Bottega Veneta sheer dress worn to the Barbie LA premiere, which wasn’t event appropriate, and Ciara’s Dundas Vanity Fair Oscar Party dress, which had me wondering why she wore a dress at all.
