Netflix’s ‘The Lost Daughter’ Women’s Luncheon and Screening With Maggie Gyllenhaal & Dakota Johnson

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Dakota Johnson attended Netflix’s ‘The Lost Daughter’ Women’s luncheon and screening held at San Vicente Bungalows on Sunday (November 7) in West Hollywood, California.

A lot of us are cautiously optimistic about Maggie’s style since the actress has been working with Lady Gaga’s stylist, Sandra Amador since the London Film Festival premiere.

I don’t see any Meat dresses in Maggie’s future, but I was delighted to finally see her not wearing all black – even though I did like her look at the LACMA Art + Film Gala.

On this occasion she is giving me a fresh springtime vibe wearing a beautiful Christopher John Rogers Resort 2022 lilac oversized suit.

I can’t just praise the colour, as I’m equally enamoured by the relaxed tailoring which is very on brand for Maggie.

I still miss her colourful Peter Pilotto and Dries van Noten moments, but I have a feeling she might surprise us this awards season.

Some of us are still reeling from the horror that was Dakota Johnson’s trousers are worn to the LACMA Art + Film Gala, but she managed to get back into our good grace wearing this now classic Gucci suit with the Eschatology label, which she styled with Gucci leather Brixton loafers.
