Ciara Wore Baba Jagne x Kollin Carter To Missy Elliott’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony

Ciara was on hand to help a Versace-clad Miss Elliot celebrate receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at a ceremony held on Monday (November 8) in Los Angeles, California.
The singer wore a leather look which was a collaboration between Gambia-born designer Baba Jagne, who has tailored looks for Cardi B and Normani to name a few.
And Ciara’s stylist Kollin Carter.
My reaction at first was, “why does it look like she’s wearing ankle monitors?”
Followed by, “this a LOT of leather.”

On one hand this feels like a look which would’ve been perfect for Janet Jackson’s 1990 Rhythm Nation World Tour, and on the other hand, it’s refreshing to see Ciara in a look that doesn’t resemble an embellished bed sheet.
Do I love this?
Not really. But I can’t say that I absolutely hate it either.
I was more sold when I saw the look on her Instagram. Even though the open back bolero is overcooking this outing.
