‘House of Gucci’ London Premiere Menswear Roundup
Jared Leto and Adam Driver were polar opposite – style-wise – while taking to the red carpet at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square this evening (November 9), for the âHouse of Gucciâ premiere.
Jared Leto wasnât given us “70’s cult leader cosplay vibesâ as quoted from JustMe, and many others from the comments.
On this occasion he was very much in the groove wearing this ’80s inspired teal-blue Gucci velvet suit, which he styled with the same style of blouse he wore to the 2021 LACMA Art+Film Gala, and Gucci’s anatomical clutch in the shape of an actual heart in a rhinestone form.
A Gucci Fine Jewelry necklace and a white manicure completed his look.
Adam Driver was representing himself as a lead actor in this film, and a Burberry ambassador.
By representing himself, he didnât deviate from what he has always presented. A classic suit.
I just wish this particular suit was more flattering.
As much as he looked like the odd man out in the cast photo, I donât expect him to switch gears at all during this tour and possible awards season. And he shouldnât have to.
He just needs better tailoring.
British actor Jack Huston, who plays Domenico De Sole in the film, opted for a Giorgio Armani black velvet suit.
Mandarin collars are fast becoming a trend in menswear. I love how this feature gives a look a cool, relaxed, yet still smart edge.
