2020 COSMO Glam Night Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more gorgeous looks to grace the red carpet at the 2020 COSMO Glam Night on Tuesday (December 2) in Shanghai, China, which was also attended by Chris Lee and Yao Chen.

You’re in for a treat.  This red carpet ranged from gorgeous gowns, suits, to those modern looks I know you all adore.

Ni Ni ć€Ș抟:  Starting off with my favourite of the night, Ni Ni, who looked breath-taking in Alexis Mabille Fall 2020 Haute Couture.  It’s a mixture of the colours, the delicacy and the luxurious feel for me.  She looks like a queen.  I’m so in awe that this will be on my BDOTY list.

Liu Yu Xin ćˆ˜é›šæ˜•:  There were a lot of people at this event, and it would be impossible to feature them all, but Liu Yu Xin’s dazzling suit from Richard Quinn’s Fall 2020 collection was one of the first looks to catch my eye.  We’ve seen so many ’80s style floral dresses from the British designer, so I love that the singer opted for this side step to the ’60s. This dazzling flared suit – which has exquisite mannish proportions – is worn with so much confidence that is is the very definition of owning a look.

Bibi Zhou 摹笔畅:  What I love most about this Haider Ackermann Fall 2020 dress is that the simplicity of the silhouette still manages to imbue an edge.  In this case, a jagged edge.

Liu Wen 战雯:  I’m usually a big fan of Liu Wen’s red carpet style, but I’m on the fence when it comes to her Bottega Veneta Fall 2020 suit.  What I do love is the pop of colour via the lime green shirt, but I’m not sure about the addition of the belt.   On the one hand it adds a touch of glam and feminizes the suit, but on the other hand, why not wear a blazer with a nipped in waist if this is the desired silhouette?

Maggie Jiang æ±Ÿç–ćœ±:  I don’t know anything about Maggie Jiang, but she’s giving me movie star energy in this high-low Georges Hobeika Spring 2020 Couture gown.

Nana Ouyang æé™œćšœćšœ:  I really thought the Givenchy Spring 2021 collection would grow on me once it hit the red carpet. Unfortunately I am still feeling a great sense of being underwhelmed.

Victoria Song ćź‹èŒœ:  It was getting to point where it felt like we were only seeing the same style of Alexandre Vauthier dress on the red carpet, so I’m delighted to see Victoria Song select this bustier and satin ball skirt from the Fall 2020 Haute Couture collection.  While I’m not a huge fan of her choice of footwear, I do love the sassy and sweet mix.

Elaine Zhong 钟愚曊: When you wear Dundas it’s hard not to ooze sex appeal. This isn’t the usual M.O. we see at event hosted in China, but the actress brings so much glamour and grace to this look.
