Lucy Boynton In Prada – 2nd Annual Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society Award Ceremony

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Lucy Boynton In Prada - 2nd Annual Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society Award Ceremony

After shimmering in gold at the Golden Globes, Lucy Boynton was radiant once again on the red carpet for the 2nd Annual Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society Award Ceremony on Wednesday (January 9) in Hollywood, California, where she joined Amandla Stenberg, Brie Larson and Rami Malek.

Crystal and metallic fringe embellishment keeps this Prada gown glam and pretty, even though I kinda wish there were a lot more of them, so it completely covered the lining.

I love how the cold-shoulder detailing reveals some skin while breathing contemporary impact into this timeless piece.

Lucy Boynton In Celine – 2019 Golden Globe Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon Features Lucy Boynton In Celine - 2019 Golden Globe Awards

When I imagine what King Midas’ muse might look like, it’s Lucy Boynton at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards tonight (January 6) in Beverly Hills, California.

The ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ starlet was draped in metallic gold with this Celine Spring 2019 goddess gown that, rather appropriately, had plenty of boho spirit with its bishop sleeves and languid mood.

An edgy, platinum bob, together with a modern take on the smoky, winged eye, completed the look.

Lucy Boynton In Emilia Wickstead – 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Lucy Boynton In Emilia Wickstead - 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala

On Thursday (January 3), the 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards Gala served at the first major event of the year, with Lucy Boynton in attendance.

Emilia Wickstead does feminine romance better than any other designer, and I’m smitten with this tea-length Resort 2019 dress which was oozing ladylike glamour.

With her gold shoes and dewy makeup elevating the dress from the look book, I can finally hit the refresh button on Lucy, and erase that Gucci frock from my mind.

2018 Governors Awards

2018 Governors Awards

The 2018 Governors Awards on Sunday (November 18) in Hollywood, California were a star-studded affair. Lovely ladies joined Rosamund Pike and Lupita Nyong’o.

Emily Blunt: The ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ actress glimmered in a custom Dundas top and skirt with Jimmy Choo shoes and David Yurman jewels. Despite the plethora of crop tops we have seen, this sharp-shouldered style held my attention thanks to the luxurious mix of metallics.

Gemma Chan: The flowing shape of the ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star’s Stella McCartney ensemble was accented with the pleated shoulder detail. The finishing touches and wrinkles bring it down slightly.

Amy Adams: She lightened up in a whimsical Schiaparelli gown. The refined silhouette balances the girlish pink tones and heart detail. A crushed velvet Tyler Ellis clutch brought in more feminine charm.

Lucy Boynton In Gucci – ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ World Premiere

Lucy Boynton In Gucci - 'Bohemian Rhapsody' World Premiere

Lucy Boynton attended the world premiere of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ on Tuesday (October 23) in London.

I love this Gucci Fall 2018 pink floral jacquard strapless gown with all-over pleating and ruffle details.

But I wish Lucy had brought more to this party.

My first reaction was that this feels flat, and that energy is coming from Lucy.

All I keep think of is, who would rock this with some conviction?

Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Penelope Pearl’ cross-strap sandals completed her look.

Front Row @ Valentino Fall 2018 Haute Couture

Socialites and celebrities were perched in the front row for the Valentino Fall 2018 Haute Couture show in Paris on Wednesday (July 4).

Nicky Hilton Rothschild: Nicky has always been a fan of Valentino, she even wore a Valentino Haute Couture gown to her wedding three years ago, so her attendance was expected at this event. This hot-pink Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 ruffled and embellished gown styled with a matching clutch might be a bit too girlish for some, but for me it fits with the Hilton style mold.

Amber Heard: While Nicky was channeling her inner Barbie, Amber was channeling her inner cowgirl in this western-inspired printed dress from the Resort 2019 collection. The boots really solidify the look.  Thankfully, that’s as far as she went when it came to accessorizing.

Tracee Ellis Ross: Like Mandy Moore, Tracee has attended several events this fashion week. Her stark white look which hails from the Valentino Fall 2018 collection is beautifully fluid; and the accessories help give the look an edge – but I wasn’t a fan of the heavy boots.

Front Row @ Miu Miu Fall 2018

The Miu Miu Fall 2018 show was held on Tuesday (March 6) during Paris Fashion Week, with a front row of stylish stars in attendance.

Rowan Blanchard: The starlet completely had me charmed in her darling, bow-accented frock. The whole look from top to toe worked for her, partly by virtue of her youth, which allowed her to likewise pull off the embellished sandals, coral eye shadow, and choker.

Rami Malek: Who knew a mauve suit could look so hip. I like the inner-facing racing stripes for a twist on the sporty standard.

Rachel Brosnahan: There was a sweet, vintage sensibility to this multi-colour polka-cot, ruched frock and its bow-topped shoulders. Rachel fully embraced the spirit, too, with her headband and coral-pink lip, finishing the look with the familiar, quirky Miu Miu platforms.
