Menswear End Of The Week Roundup
Here’s your roundup of the standout menswear moments that kept things cool (sometimes literally) from Wimbledon to Paris this week.

Range Rover Hosts Lunch At Wimbledon
Luke Newton has always been known for his signature wavy, boyish hairstyle—a key part of his Bridgerton heartthrob charm. So, it was a surprise to see him sporting a fresh buzzcut at Wimbledon today. At first glance, it looked like a heatwave survival tactic, but it’s likely in preparation for his role as Lee Alexander McQueen in House of McQueen, opening in New York this September. Hair aside, he proved once again that good tailoring and natural charm go a long way. He may have wished he’d skipped the blazer (it was 30°C, after all), but he still looked sharp and stylish.

Riz Ahmed paid tribute to his Indian heritage in a pale green, hand-embroidered Kartik Research shirt featuring a delicate floral motif. He paired it with pleated wool trousers adorned with Kasuti embroidery—both pieces created using handloom weaving, a nod to traditional craftsmanship. Thoughtful, cultural, and cool.

Joe Alwyn, now fully committed to his Mr Laidback era, delivered a cool breeze of a look in a Tod’s Mens Spring 2025 blue knit top and navy trousers. White sneakers rounded it off for a look that was quietly confident and effortlessly stylish. There’s something refreshing about how unbothered and at ease he’s looked lately. It suits him.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps London Photocall
Pedro Pascal briefly stepped away from his Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann era and gave a look from The Row. The red and white top paired with a brown suit wasn’t an obvious choice—but Pedro rarely takes the easy route. Draping the jacket over his shoulders was a clever styling move, but the smartest choice? Leaving it in the hotel room altogether.

Joseph Quinn, the go-to man for traditional tailoring on this press tour, switched things up with a rare laid-back look from Marni. I’m relieved that both the blue shirt and jeans featured patches of velvet rather than being entirely made of it.

La Nuit de la Mode
Lucky Love performed with the Louvre as a backdrop wearing custom Givenchy by Sarah Burton.

The look, complete with pleated trousers and a dramatic cape, was punctuated by a black silk satin duchesse bow embroidered with a sunflower. Camp and couture met centre stage.

Schiaparelli Fall 2025 Haute Couture Show
I missed Cooper Koch in my initial front row article, but he definitely deserves a mention. His ultra-rare custom Schiaparelli shawl collar menswear suit, complete with a golden dove brooch, was a standout. The impeccable tailoring proves Daniel Roseberry should consider leaning further into menswear. Cooper’s on a winning streak this week.

Bal D’Été At The Musée Des Arts Décoratifs
Jesse Plemons stuck to his classic formula in a Canali black notch lapel tuxedo. Clean, timeless, and the perfect plus-one to Kirsten Dunst’s chic Chanel look. He’s not reinventing anything, and that’s exactly why it works.
