Naomi Watts In Richard Quinn – The Fashion Awards 2018

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature Naomi Watts In Richard Quinn - The Fashion Awards 2018

Naomi Watts was back on the red carpet at The Fashion Awards 2018 on Monday (December 10) in London, England.

The actress was outfitted in a Richard Quinn Spring 2019 dress. It was a memorable occasion to wear the designer considering he was the winner of the British Emerging Talent Womenswear award.

She took a more classically feminine route than the runway by styling the dress with silver accessories to enhance the embellished trim.

The outfit was pretty and unfussy, and she looked at ease in it.

2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards

2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards

Elegance and drama were common themes at the 2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday (November 18) in London. Celebrities joined Jenna Coleman, Claire Foy and Letitia Wright.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge: The evening’s presenter was perfectly coordinated with the backdrop in custom Richard Quinn, Gina shoes and Cartier jewelry. She still shone in her own right thanks to the alluring draped neckline and rich explosion of colourful blooms.

Sophie Okonedo: The winner of the Natasha Richardson Award for Best Actress projected ladylike refinement in Emilia Wickstead Fall 2018. It might not have been an obvious red carpet choice, but I am caught up with the open neckline and how the shoulders merge into the choker detail.

Suki Waterhouse: In Brock Collection Spring 2019, she presented a more unabashed vintage femininity than her typical style but she radiates in the outfit. The flared hem balances the oversized sleeves for a charming finish.

Thandie Newton In Richard Quinn – Virgin TV BAFTA Television Awards

After her dazzling moment at the ‘SOLO: A Story Wars Story’ LA premiere, I was very much looking forward to seeing Thandie Newton again. She was back on the red carpet at the Virgin TV BAFTA Television Awards on Sunday (May 13) in London, alongside Vanessa Kirby and Claire Foy.

This Richard Quinn gown was a vivacious look. It had a summery sentiment while still being formal enough for the occasion.

The asymmetrical gathered silhouette had a playful feel that was soft yet structured. It was dramatic enough that she didn’t need the coordinating pieces, although, I could see her successfully carrying off the arm covering.

Amal Clooney In Richard Quinn – 2018 Met Gala

Amal Clooney was another early arrival at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday night (May 7) in New York City, joining Olivia Munn.

Many might have expected the co-host to go down the gown route, but she surprised in a Richard Quinn foiled bustier with trousers and a train.

It is spellbinding and thoroughly modern with the sharp tailoring juxtaposing the pooling train.

Lorraine Schwartz heightened the drama.

Even husband George Clooney is swept up in the magic.

Irving Penn Exhibition Private Viewing Hosted by Vogue

A private viewing, hosted by Vogue, for the Irving Penn exhibition at the Grand Palais was held on Sunday (October 1) during Paris Fashion Week.

Adwoa Aboah: Taking a break from walking the runways at Paris Fashion Week, Adwoa posed in a Richard Quinn Spring 2018 look that offered an invigorating, happy mix of ditzy florals. You would think with so many bold, competing prints that this would translate as disjointed. But, on the contrary, I loved this look on Adwoa, and I also credit its success to her minimal approach to the styling, with a black sandal and red pout all she needed. Flower power, indeed.

Kylie Minogue: I think it’s safe to say that Kylie put this Alice McCall ‘More Than A Woman’ fringe gown to work for her—as it was made to be spun around. As fun as it was, I was a bit tassel fatigued and the muted, mauve-pink colour wasn’t my favourite for the vibrancy of the entertainer, but she attempted to bring a splash of vividness via her lipstick.

Dita von Teese: With a look that riffed on the field-of-poppies print from the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2017 Couture collection, Dita maximized proportions with this look. I have mixed feelings on the balloon sleeves, as they might be lumped into a costume-y circus category. But, the colours were striking in contrast to the black pencil skirt.
