Netflix’s ‘House of Cards’ Season 6 Premiere

Netflix's 'House of Cards' Season 6 Premiere

Diane Lane, Constance Zimmer amd Patricia Clarkson attended the premiere screening of Netflix’s ‘House of Cards’ Season 6 in LA on Monday (October 22), where they joined Robin Wright.

Diane Lane: I usually worship the ground that Diane walks on, but I was slightly underwhelmed on this occasion. I think with some better accessories would’ve given some life to this custom Gabriela Hearst wrap jumpsuit.

Constance Zimmer: There was plenty of life, energy and colour oozing from Constance’s Alice + Olivia ‘Greta’ dress from the Fall 2018 collection. APM Monaco jewels and gorgeous patent red pumps completed her look.

Patricia Clarkson: The actress continually looks like she’s having fun playing dress up on the red carpet, and this Pamella Roland playful dress styled with Hearts On Fire Jewelry and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals is yet another example.

Janelle Monae In Conversation With Brittany Spanos

Janelle Monae In Conversation With Brittany Spanos

Janelle Monae in Conversation with Brittany Spanos took place at 92nd Street Y on Tuesday (October 16) in New York City.

It’s been a long while since we saw Janelle on the red carpet, but one thing has remained the same.

Her love for all things black and white.

Alice + Olivia expertly balances exposure with concealment and creates a contradictory silhouette that contrasts a high Victoriana neckline with a semi-sheer tiered skirt.

It’s textural too, with the addition of stripes worked into the floral embroidered lace for an extra dose of fun.

As always, her look is brimming with personality from H-2-T.

9th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

9th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

The 9th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic took place at Will Rogers State Historic Park on Saturday (October 6) in Pacific Palisades, California, with a host of celebrities in attendance.

Camilla Belle: I would’ve expected Camilla to opt for the typical floral, summery dress for this event, so I was pleasantly surprised by this Novis Fall 2018 jumpsuit. Her one-and-done piece should’ve been enhance with better accessories. Both the pink Ming Ray bag and chunky footwear didn’t work for me.

Olivia Wilde: The easy breezy vibe of her Alice + Olivia Spring 2019 suit would’ve been digested better had the trouser been taken up a few inches. I love that she went sans blouse and the accessories which included a Lidia May bag added a fun element.

Angela Sarafyan: The ‘Westworld’ actress can do no wrong, and this summer garden party ready jumpsuit is a glowing testament to that fact. If you didn’t like the accessories worn by Olivia and Camilla, I’m sure you’ll agree that Angela’s was far more complementary.

Mila Kunis In Alice + Olivia – The Late Late Show with James Cordon

Mila Kunis made a guest appearance on ‘The Late Late Show with James Cordon’ on Friday (July 27) in LA.

It’s fair to say that you disliked her rare outing in colour at ‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’ premiere, so I’m not surprised to see her return to her old faithful: black, wearing an Alice + Olivia Fall 2018 outfit.

While I adore the length of the model’s dazzling embellished skirt, the shorter version was probably a better shout for the petite star.

The look felt fun and playful, yet achingly sophisticated. I especially love the way the sweater is neatly jazzed up with rows of glimmering faux pearls.

Am I alone in preferring this to her premiere look?

Refinery29’s 29Rooms Chicago: Turn It Into Art Opening Party 2018

Refinery29 hosted a ’29Rooms: Turn it Into Art’ event on Wednesday (July 25) in Chicago, Illinois.

Taylor Schilling: The ‘OITNB’ actress opted for a high neck Veronica Beard ‘Nico’ dress styled with Chloe Gosselin ‘Olympe’ mules. I wish the dress was a little more flattering, and shoes were less fussy, as they have a little bit of everything going on here.

Kelly Rowland: The singer’s Alice + Olivia Saba embellished top and Dustin wide leg pants combo was a stunning display of summer time florals. I love chic nod to the pyjama trend that the trousers give, while they’ll lending a contemporary ease to her look.

Emily Ratajkowski: There was a feeling of deja vu when I saw Emily in this Miaou Fall 2018 look. While she is a huge fan of the contemporary brand, the familiarity had more to do with the style of what she wore i.e. boobs and midriff on taking centre stage.

Comic-Con 2018 Red Carpet Roundup

Comic-Con 2018 was awash with talent and inspiring red carpet looks. Here is a look at those who caught my eye.

Zoe Kravitz: The actress, who participated in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ panel, kept things cool – as you would expect – wearing a cropped t-shirt and Prada Fall 2018 trousers with a punchy print.

Ruth Negga: The thing I love most about Ruth style is the confidence oozing from every pore. This Ulla Johnson look styled with By Far sandals, was yet another effortless example.

Jamie Chung: The one thing you can rely upon with ‘The Gifted’ star is colour, and perhaps some vibrant tropical blooms. This Alice + Olivia ‘Amos’ blouse and NBD ‘Derrick’ skirt has me dreaming of exotic locations.

Serayah McNeill In Alice + Olivia – Build Series

Best known for break out role as Tiana Brown in the hit series ‘Empire’, Serayah McNeill is not only a talented, beautiful and intelligent actress, but also an accomplished singer.

On Monday (July 10) she took to the BUILD stage to chat about her new single, ‘So Good.’

If spending hours rummaging the rails for vintage finds isn’t quite your style, this ’70s inspired Alice + Olivia ‘Kylie’ patchwork jacket is your fast-track to bohemian-enthused separates.

I love how Serayah brings the look right up-to-date with her Prince of Wales check cropped trousers and splashes of red, which included Stella Luna’s ‘Cigarette’ ankle boots.
