2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards

2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards

Elegance and drama were common themes at the 2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday (November 18) in London. Celebrities joined Jenna Coleman, Claire Foy and Letitia Wright.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge: The evening’s presenter was perfectly coordinated with the backdrop in custom Richard Quinn, Gina shoes and Cartier jewelry. She still shone in her own right thanks to the alluring draped neckline and rich explosion of colourful blooms.

Sophie Okonedo: The winner of the Natasha Richardson Award for Best Actress projected ladylike refinement in Emilia Wickstead Fall 2018. It might not have been an obvious red carpet choice, but I am caught up with the open neckline and how the shoulders merge into the choker detail.

Suki Waterhouse: In Brock Collection Spring 2019, she presented a more unabashed vintage femininity than her typical style but she radiates in the outfit. The flared hem balances the oversized sleeves for a charming finish.

Ellie Bamber In Chanel Haute Couture – ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms ‘ London Premiere

Ellie Bamber In Chanel Haute Couture - 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms ' London Premiere

We had a rare saccharine moment from Ellie Bamber at the London premiere of ‘The Nutcracker And The Four Realms’ on Thursday (November 1).

We all know that the Chanel ambassador has a penchant for black and navy, so I was delighted to see her getting into the spirit of the occasion in this head-turner of a glittering and frou-frou feathered Chanel Spring 2017 Haute Couture frock, which was a nod at the Nutcracker’s ballet element.

Metallic silver Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps completed her stunning look.

I’m sure some might consider this is too twee for Ellie, regardless of the theme, but I’m totally charmed by this in its entirety.

2018 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

2018 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards 4 copy

Here is a roundup from the 2018 Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards held at Claridge’s Hotel on Tuesday (October 30) in London.

Ellie Bamber: Was this a case of third time’s the charm, when this Chanel Pre-Fall 2018 look has already been successfully mastered by Keira Knightley and Tilda Swinton, or three strikes and your out?

Adwoa Aboah: Pop art was a way to rebel against the art establishment, just as Mary Katrantzou’s prints rebel against mundane colour combinations. You may not love the shape of this Spring 2019 dress, but you have to admire the artistry, and the additional green clutch and blue Louboutins Adwoa brought to this look.

Ellie Bamber In Chanel – MIPCOM 2018 Opening Ceremony

Ellie Bamber In Chanel - MIPCOM 2018 Opening Ceremony

Following the photocall, Ellie Bamber attended the MIPCOM 2018 Opening Ceremony on Monday (October 15) in Cannes, France.

The British actress was back to black wearing a Chanel Fall 2018 dress with Chanel accessories, which possessed a grown up elegance we haven’t seen from her before.

With that being said, did Ellie pull of this look for you?

If you feeling a sense of deja vu, that’s because Penelope Cruz – who perhaps would’ve been a better fit for this dress – wore a similar look back in July.

Ellie Bamber In Chanel - 'Les Miserables' MIPCOM 2018 Photocall

Ellie Bamber attended the ‘Les Miserables’ photocall as part of the MIPCOM 2018 today (October 15) in Cannes, France.

The French Riviera was definitely the right environment for this Chanel Resort 2019 nautical look to be presented.

Ellie tends to favour Chanel LBD collection, so I was excited to see her branch out in this effervescent look which she styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Sonia’ white pumps.

Opening Season Paris Opera Ballet

Opening Season Paris Opera Ballet

Sarah Jessica Parker wasn’t the only one to make a statement at the gala celebrating the opening season of the Paris Opera Ballet on Thursday (September 27). Many others brought style in spades with black Chanel being the look of choice.

Stacy Martin: The French actress’s Chanel Fall 2018 Haute Couture gown had an otherworldly effect with the blue and purple sequins. The impact would have been stronger with her hair tied back and a different bag.

Ellie Bamber: Another one in Chanel Fall 2018 Haute Couture, she opted for short and voluminous. I fear this might have people asking if she’s pregnant given the unfortunate placement of her hand and the dramatic gathers on the midsection.
