There was of course some Australian celebrities who joined Zendaya Coleman on the red carpet for the 2020 AAA (Australian American Association) Arts Awards, held at the Skylight Modern on Thursday (January 30) in New York City.
Kylie Minogue: You can’t hold an event celebrating Australia without inviting Kylie Minogue, who stars in the Australian latest tourism campaign. The singer-actress wore a Ralph & Russo’s Spring 2019 dress, which may feel very familiar, as we’ve seen similar one sleeve draped silhouettes on Chrissy Teigen and Angelina Jolie.
Naomi Watts: It’s not often that Naomi wears a trousersed look. Floral or lace dresses are usually her go-tos for events like this, as we all know she can turn on the Hollywood glamour for awards season and Cannes Film Festival.
Much like Jennifer Lopez’s look yesterday, I’m leaning more to the top than the bottom half of her Maticevski Resort 2020 outfit. I feel like she could’ve sized down with the trousers to prevent the bunching at the hips.
What I love most about this event, is that all the attendees wore a look from a designer who calls Australian their homeland.
Proceeds raised from the dinner will help support the Australian Red Cross for the Australian Bushfire Relief Fund.
