Naomi Watts In Armani Prive – 2020 Golden Globe Awards

Naomi Watts In Armani Prive - 2020 Golden Globe Awards

Naomi Watts joined her fellow Australian actress Nicole Kidman on the red carpet for the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) in Beverly Hills.

You can always rely on Naomi to bring plenty of glamour to these events.

And Armani Prive, who gave metallic a whole new meaning.

Rather than being completely from incandescent material, the curve skimming bodice features glittering circles against a black background.

Yet what really transforms this dress from beautiful to iconic is the crossed halter neckline that is black velvet with a few speckles of metallic dots.

Naturally, Noami’s shoulders look amazing, and her porcelain skin, retro waves, and red lip ooze Old Hollywood glamour.

The actress is nominated for her role in ‘The Impossible.’

Fittingly, she did the seemingly impossible of making a metallic dress feel glittering new.

I adore this neck-up. Still very over polka dots (even if they sparkle), but I bet the rest of the dress was divine when she moved!

Beautiful no fuss dress. I love the retro feel. It suits Naomi well.

I think she’s the only one who brought true Old Hollywood glam to the event. It’s beautifully done.

One of the best looks of the night!

    Gorgeous.

Glad she bought some glamour. Effortless yet lovely. Wish if she could go for a custom made gown with different color palette.

The Impossible was years ago, she was just a presenter this time around. I do love the dress, though, one of my favorites of the night.

Classy and elegant but forgettable. The hair and makeup are flawless.

One of my favorite looks of the night. I love how subtly elegant it is, even with the sequins. She wore it better than the model, esp with that hairstyle. And I agree – that criss-cross halter neckline in black velvet really elevates the look.

    Classic, elegant, glamorous.
    Nothing groundbreaking but still gorgeous.
The dress looked even better from the back.

    She looks gorgeous.

I can only imagine how hectic covering the Globes must be, but Naomi wasn’t nominated for “The Impossible” – that was in 2012!

    Very Naomi.

    Perfection. One of the best.

She does classy old school hollywood well.

Naomi does old Hollywood glamour so well. Stunning! Armani Prive ftw!

It’s a classic gown – one that Jennifer Aniston should consider if she wants one black dress to repeat. The retro waves perfectly echo the old Hollywood feel of the dress.

Not only is she not nominated but her film The Impossible came out in 2012. I remember because I bawled watching it on a plane ride.

Anyway, very glam and agree can always count on Naomi for old glamour. I actually really like the dress but the outfit isn’t memorable, I think her bob should be a touch longer but I think the outfit is missing a headpiece or something wow with the hair imo.

On Eva Green this would be bomb af and dangerous; on Naomi Watts it is expected and very nice.

  20. Guest January 6, 2020 at 2:50 am #

    Boring and rather forgettable, unfortunately.

I was waiting for someone to finally wear this dress and Naomi didn’t disappoint. She looks beautiful, elegant and classy.

Pretty. Classy. Elegant. Nothing new from her but definitely cant complain about anything either. She looks great!

Another strong contender. I really like this for its muted edge, and her glam look works well with it
