The Charles Finch & Chanel Pre-BAFTA’s Dinner

As we all know, Grammy weekend is also BAFTA weekend.  Which means as soon as our BAFTA coverage concludes, we go straight into the Grammys this evening.

Charles Finch and Chanel hosted their annual pre-BAFTA’s dinner at Loulou’s on Saturday (February 9) in London.

Regina King: While most wore Chanel, Regina King opted for Giorgio Armani. Does that mean she doesn’t suit Chanel? No, she just opted to showed her individuality in this Fall 2017 top and colour-block ball skirt. I can’t wait to see what she wears tonight.

Margot Robbie: The Chanel brand ambassador was always going to wear a look from the most recent collection. Her Chanel Spring 2019 Haute Couture look is elegant enough, but at the same time, it’s not exactly a memorable piece.

Ellie Bamber: After a cheating her for first love with Elie Saab and Salvatore Ferragamo, Ellie returned to Chanel wearing a look from the Spring 2019 collection. The boxy tweed jacket is a new silhouette for the British actress, but I love the pop of colour as she tends to stick to a dark colour palette.

Lucy Boynton: There have been some questionable red carpet moments from Lucy recently, but this Chanel Spring 2019 look showcases the sweet, youthful side to her style.

Yalitza Aparicio: The Latin actress dazzled in a colour block look from Kris Goyri. From the colour to the iridescent shimmer, I’m obsessed with this look, which is one of her better ones from recent events.

Eleanor Tomlinson: After her slightly disappointing look the BAFTA Gala, the actress was back to her best in Chanel’s Spring 2019 collection. While those Kardashian/Jenners have a lot to answer for when it comes to making those cycling shorts popular, I love how Eleanor has made them look refined and elegant here.

Rachel Weisz: I’ve been really intrigued with Rachel’s look of late. Her SAG Awards Givenchy Haute Couture dress seemed like a step outside her comfort-zone, and so does this Chanel look, from the dress itself to the styling with the over-the-knee boots. There’s an edge which I don’t believe she’s showcased before. What do you make of it?

Salma Hayek: The actress was representing Gucci in this stunning sequin black dress featuring the signature bow in bright pink. A Bulgari clutch completed her look along with Sergio Rossi peep-toes.

Amy Adams: Proving that you can’t go wrong with a LBD, Amy kept things super simple following her bright red Andrew Gn offering for the ‘Vice’ Paris premiere earlier this week.

Noomi Rapace: God bless Noomi Rapace. Sh wore head-to-toe in animal print and I’m living for it. On anyone else…overkill, but the girl knows how to commit and rock a look.

Melissa McCarthy: I love the simplicity of this look. She’s had the best run of her life during this award season campaign. The fuchsia lip is divine here.

Glenn Close: The actress was elegance personified in her classic Chanel tweed look.
