Regina King In Michael Kors Collection – 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Regina King In Michael Kors Collection - 2019 Critics' Choice Awards

Regina King picked up her second ‘Best Supporting Actress’ award for ‘If Beale Street Could Talk,’ at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 13) in Santa Monica, California.

She dazzled once again, this time wearing a custom embroidered gown from the Michael Kors Collection, styled with Irene Neuwirth jewels and Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps.

The regal amethyst hue is fit for a queen. I love how the look is offset by the elegant off-the-shoulder neckline.

My only nitpick is that I wish they had snatched the waist and bodice a bit more. That was the main attraction of her Golden Globes gown.

2019 National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features 2019 National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala Red Carpet Roundup

There were a myriad of looks at the 2019 National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala on Tuesday (January 8) in New York City. Celebrities joined Olivia Wilde.

Regina King: Breaking from her recent pink outfits, the ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ actress wore a speckled Zac Posen gown which had a pattern that mimicked falling snow. The frilled bodice plays off the diagonal seaming.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: ‘The Kindergarten Teacher’ actress kept things understated in a neutral A.W.A.K.E. Spring 2019 dress. The earrings help enliven it but I would have chosen a different shoe.

Sophia Bush: Oozing Old Hollywood glamour, the actress was outfitted in a Zac Posen dress. This material is notorious for creasing and puckering so I commend the chic, liquid finish.

2019 New York Film Critics Circle Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features 2018 New York Film Critics Circle Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Lovely ladies stepped out at the 2019 New York Film Critics Circle Awards, joining Naomi Watts and Elsie Fisher.

Regina King: The ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ actress was the definition of feminine sophistication in Michael Kors Collection. The subtle glinting pink fabric highlights the flawless tailoring and its flattering cut.

Marina de Tavira: She projected refined elegance in Rebecca de Ravenel Fall 2018. Unfortunately, the creamy style lost some of its finesse because of the creases and the fit seems a bit off. I’m unsure about what is going on with the skirt but it’s not sitting right.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

It was a jam-packed red carpet at The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party on Saturday (January 5) in Los Angeles, California, with 18 more more ladies joining Thandie Newton,  Emma StoneKiki LayneGemma Chan and Laura Harrier.

Emily Blunt: I was at first swept away by the beautiful Oscar de la Renta Pre Fall 2019 tulle polka dot dress, then I fell more in love with this look when I got to the yellow sandals.

Rachel Brosnahan: The colour of this weekend for Rachel was yellow. You were slightly underwhelmed by her Golden Globes offering, so how does this Christian Siriano Spring 2019 embellished sheath fare? The look was beautifully styled with yellow and gold Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ pumps.

Rosamund Pike: It looks like the Pike x Givenchy union has a lot more to offer, and you’ll find me complaining following her Golden Globes outing and this flouncy Spring 2019 asymmetric dress. The only thing missing from this union is some colour every once in a while, as I’m worried this might hit a Rooney Mara “always black” brick wall. Pierre Hardy ‘Gena’ sandals completed her look.

Regina King In Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition – 2019 Golden Globes Awards

Fashion Bogger Catherine Kallon features Regina King In Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition - 2019 Golden Globes Awards

Regina King shone at the 2019 Golden Globes on Sunday (January 6).

The actress, who is nominated for two awards this evening, looked every inch the nominee in custom Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition.

The rose gold style is a delight of contrasts. It is simple yet complicated and soft yet strong. It’s also begging to be seen up close and sparkling under the stage lights.

Messika jewels complemented the dazzling dress.

Regina King In Valentino – 2019 AFI Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Regina King In Valentino - 2019 AFI Awards

Regina King wore her second Valentino outfit (and third overall) in two days, for the 2019 AFI Awards today (January 4) in California.

I wasn’t at all mad about the autumnal hues of her Valentino Spring 2019 look – we are in the Fall season after-all – but I did find myself not loving the choice of boots.

Yes, tan boots wouldn’t have worked either. I’m thinking more along the lines of Malone Souliers ‘Mika’ sandals.

Regina King In Cushnie- ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ Palm Springs International Film Festival Screening

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Regina King In Cushnie- 'If Beale Street Could Talk' Palm Springs International Film Festival Screening

Notching up her second red carpet look of 2019, following her win the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards Gala on Thursday (January 3) in California, Regina King was back on the red carpet for the screening of ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’.

Looking exquisite in bright yellow Cushnie Spring 2019, this floor sweeping gown such a simple, yet standout piece.

I love how the halter neckline and low cut back provide and elegant touch of sexiness, while the rose-pink velvet sandals provide an unexpected twist.
